Admittedly, this whole data thing is difficult – and terribly confusing. There is so much data out there: data we know about; data we don't know about; data we created ourselves (consciously or unconsciously); data that others created about us; data that seems to be irrelevant; data that is clearly sensitive... and so on. But just because it is difficult, does not mean we should not worry, understand, or care about that data. And we will help you with that!

Functions of the current version
In the current version of the polyPod, with the Facebook Data Importer, your Facebook data can be imported directly into the polyPod and analysed locally on your device. Afterwards, this information is presented in a clear and comprehensible way. Through detailed infographics and enriched with explanations, you learn what Facebook actually knows about you.

The data in your polyPod belongs to you; and only to you. Also, we from polypoly do not have access to your data at any time. You are asked when someone wants to know something about you. This sums up what the polyPod does for you. With the polyPod you always control who knows what about you, who is allowed to know what about you, and what no one should know about you, whether another person or a company.

Phase 2: Knowledge
See precisely what data companies have about you. See it on your polyPod and start managing your data there.
Phase 3: Correct
Correct the data that companies have collected, step by step. Gradually delete the data that is incorrect, or that you do not wish to share.
Phase 4: Control
Use more and more applications without giving up control over your data. Determine who can access your data at any time.
Phase 5: Rent out
Start making money with your data if you choose. Make your data available for analyses to whoever you want, for as long as you want.

With the support of the members of the cooperative, we continue to expand the polyPod. Little by little, the polyPod offers you more and more possibilities to protect your privacy. In the future, additional features can be loaded via the polyPod. These can also be features that you are used to, such as a chat or messenger service, games, a running app or a new social network.
