Pomodoro Reviews

Great Pomodoro timer!

TheAswanson on

Knocking off one star due to lack of live activity support. Other than that, it’s excellent and fits my needs!

5 star but shows me ads even though I pay

adammpatr on

I pay for premium. Every time I launch the app, I am shown ads and have to close and re-launch the app.

This app is my go to for Pomodoro breaks in order to be able to eat up content and reflect. My biggest thing that I want involved in the app is baroque music as a background. There is immense studies suggesting the use of classical music helps with staying focused and productive. This would make the app 120%!!

I hate this app

Gcjgxihf on

It made me do more work and my mom is just screaming in my ear because it said get back to work

Confusing interface

It doesn’t immediately say how to connect calendar

Great timer

Wonderful app. I would love to see the timer on my Lock Screen!

Inefficient

The free version doesn't really provide anything, not even an alarm clock that goes off once the time is up so I feel like it's not very efficient unless you do pay for it.

great time-management app, but buggy and full of adss

Overall I really like this app, it has been very helpful. You have a lot of freedom to customize the timer settings, and even the aesthetics there are a lot more ads now than when I downloaded it, which has really degraded the experience. After a focus timer concludes (or when you manually stop it), an ad automatically plays which seems counterproductive. Furthermore, the notifications are extremely buggy. If another app (like calendar) has sent a notification, pomodoro will not show or play the notification when the timer concludes. The notif sound can also play far louder than desired.
