PopOut! The Tale of Peter Rabbit - Potter

This is the kind of production - like the wonderful iPad Waste Land app, and the excellent Dr Seuss productions - that show the way of multimedia literature presentations into the future. Peter Rabbit is at once 'just the book' with the original title page and illustrations, read by a very appropriate English voice - and much more than that. The animations are modest and just enough to delight. readers who like to fiddle a bit, and the facilty to manage everything when you still can't read is guaranteed to entrance small children. I look forward to many more of my favourite children's books being produced in this way - hopefully while my grandchildren are still the right age to experience the magic. It will be interesting to see whether experience of works like this, where the words are highlighted as the story progresses, will enhance reading learning.

I find it annoying that you've steered away from universal apps as you did with the original Peter Rabbit. I understood it may have been a requirement being a joint venture with Boynton Books but now you've done it again with Squirrel Nutkin. I own an iPhone 4 & I don't want to repurchase an iPad version when I can finally get hold of an iPad 2. There are too many other great children's books all of which are universal. Eg. The amazing books by Thomas & Friends which are only $1.29 I have purchased all of your books but I won't be getting Squirrel Nutkin or any other book until they become universal again...

A truly classic children's story has been brought to life by the enhancements offered by the iPad reading experience. Lovingly crafted and well presented. You will not be disappointed. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Great book, absolutely magical and a showcase for what is possible on the iPad. My 4 year old loves tapping not just the pictures but also the words and we make up new sentences together. My two older boys, 6 and 9, also think it's great. This is an amazing new version of a classic that is the best children's reading experience I have seen on the app store to date.

I had great hopes for this but was disappointed. The controls are far from intuitive and I couldn't work out how to turn off the music. Adds very little value to the book. Forgiveable at $1 but not at $5.

This has become the most favourite Book on my iPad. The interactions in it are truely fantastic, my son loves to play with the leaves & squash the blackberries into the page.

this has been the best program I’ve ever used. I’ve used it with all my grandchildren from Little to now grown to be 23. I’m still reading it to Evie, who is now five. She has been able to read some of the words as sight words. thank you for creating this program and hope you create more.

As a Beatrix Potter fan, I love that your interactive book stays true to her charming art. I saw that British fans get two books. When will Benjamin Bunny come to American audiences, please??
