Before this recent update, this app allowed you to use it for free if you left a 100 word review for them. Now after the recent update, the protection automatically shuts off and you have to purchase the app in order to use the protection.

I am unsure if this promotion is still active, however I am willing to submit a review anyhow just in case it is. The promotion dictates that if you write a review for the app, you get the "premium" version of the application for free, otherwise it is 70 dollars. There are likely better alternatives for cheaper. I suppose the premium version utilizes their database for protection/blocking instead of having to do everything manually, which is a plus. I do suppose 70 dollars is measly compared to a potentially life altering addiction that would also end up costing you more money in the long run.
