I could have reviewed the app if i was able to login. 90% of the time I am unable to login during trading hours. Fidelity and Robinhood are the way to go.
I cannot login to the app. I live in China and it wants to verify me with phone number. I select “verify another way”, and the scroll menu does not allow me to scroll to select other countries.

I’ve been happy with this app, no issues to report. UNTIL yesterday when I went to sign on. A pop-up comes up saying I need to do a mandatory update, so I hit the button to go to the App Store. Once there, there’s no update available, it just has the open button. I hit that, go back to the app, and up pops the mandatory update pop-up, which I can’t bypass. So I’m basically shut out of my account when trying to use the app due to a mandatory update pop-up that I can’t get rid of. It’s a viscous circle and I can’t escape. 😟

At first, I was deciding whether to just keep using the basic E*Trade app, or this one. If you rarely trade, or just have a buy and hold strategy, the basic is ok. However, I trade more actively and appreciate that this app offers more features than the basic version (like advanced charting features), and the ability to easily view current futures contracts in real time. I keep the basic app “just in case”, but this is the app I use daily. It takes a bit of getting used to, but I wouldn’t switch back to the basic app. I love it, and it’s a must if you’re a more active trader with an E*Trade account.
Been trading stocks for 10 plus years, I love etrade and its app(s) for stock trading; however it fails miserably in options. On the etrade app, you cant see delta in the options tree. On the power etrade app, you can; however, it doesn’t give you all available expiration dates. It also doesn’t give you break even points or buy back prices of contracts in a user friendly way to plan ahead. A few friends have shown me their robinhood app and im considering moving all money to them just for the super easy user interface.
The app sits there and spins on my futures positions if I click on “add” or “close”. I have to login to the power trade on my laptop to trade. This just started happening recently.
