No longer allows adding new computers, app just crashes on pressing + button.

This was my favorite wake-on-lan app but it no longer works. The problem is that I’m not able to add or update and computers without it closing. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling which wiped out my saved computers but now I’m completely unable to add any so can no longer us the app.

After trying and deleting several apps, i tried this. Just enter the MAC address and bang, it wakes up and will let my macbook connect via realVNC. Simple, free, no ads, no in app purchases. It just works.

Super simple app

Took the easy steps of looking up my MAC address, putting that information into the app, and hitting WOL on the app. No trickery, no Windows configurations, no BIOS configurations (depending your motherboard, this may not be true). This is the first time I’ve set up wake on LAN and it was so much easier than I thought it would be.

Works

Works like a charm

Doesn’t work

The app doesn’t work. Full stop. It doesn’t even allow you to pick which port to send the packet to.

Simple app that performs as advertised

This is the 3rd WOL app that I downloaded to wake my NAS up on the local network. The other 2 apps seemed specifically designed to be used remotely (i.e. not on the same subnet). This app works perfectly and just asks for a name and the MAC address of the hardware. Worked immediately, free and no ads (which those other two apps couldn’t match). Thanks!

Very nice
