The timer function doesn’t work. I properly set it so my dog can’t go out after 10. It’s 1030 and I tested it he can go out. What’s the point of the app????

Wi-Fi does not work and never will work ! Worst part is they know this and are still selling this product!

Still a few quirks but the wifi and app are working much better for the last few months (aka it actually connects!).

I purchased this door about a year ago (2023) but was not able to install it until now. After reading the reviews of this app I was a little worried that it might not work, but since I had the door for a year and the return window was closed I decided to try it anyway and to my surprise, It works as advertised. I love this door and my pet is loving it even more.

I waited almost a year to write this review. I sent an email to support soon after buying this door and complained about the same issues others have noted with this app. At that time they stated they were working to correct the issues. It took much longer than they stated, but the app does work now. I get my notifications, the timer works perfectly if you configure it properly. There are some nuances you must account for, but I’m now happy with the app. Be aware that if you have an in/out schedule/timer, it overrides manual inputs. If you have the timer on and it’s currently scheduled for the door to allow entry, then the timer overrides if you manually turn off entry mode. Your manual entry will work for a few seconds, then the timer schedule will turn it back on/off depending on what you programmed. If you want to manually control the door, then turn off the timer. Thanks for listening to your user base and correcting the shortcomings of the app. I also felt I had paid extra for features not provided, but I’m happy now.

I have in installing, and then reinstalling… the WiFi just spins and spins without ever finding my 2.4. Network. I have the unit almost 2 years, and one main point of getting is to allow/limit the dogs going outside during the late/early morning. Have never been able to get it to work, you can’t even do it manually. Also just bought my 5 collar sensor unit, and only have 2 dogs… they just decide to stop working… more added expense that I though I wouldn’t think. Would have after so much money for the entire system. I sent photos when the first on stop working to customer service, but never heard back anything. A very unhappy customer of a product hat sells itself, if it actually worked, and then to read in a earlier post that their server has been off line for up to 2 years.

Since the update around 2 months ago, the app has significantly improved overall and all of the features are also working as they should! Thank you!!

I wrote a review 2 years ago due to the WiFi not working properly when away from home. It was hit and miss with long connection times. I noticed a couple of weeks ago while at work and accessing the app that it connected within 2 seconds instead of the typical 20 to 30 seconds, or sometimes not at all! I thought it was weird and probably wouldn’t happen again. Well, I am here to tell you that whatever was wrong before has been fixed! Hopefully for good! The WiFi seems to work beautifully now and I’m so happy. Definitely worth it after all this time. Thank you for fixing whatever the issue was. I can now recommend this door!

As another poster mentioned, the wifi door still doesn’t work. Save your money and get the one without wifi. Also, we got the Blue Fang collars with our door to help train with unwanted barking. Do not get these collars if you have multiple dogs that you’re training at once. It’s too involved to quickly change between dogs. We returned ours and bought the MS5 collars that only operate the door. The electronic door works well. Just don’t buy the upgrades.

The app is supposed to notify you during certain events, such as triggering and opening of the door. The notifications do not work.
