Eh
No option to set / change star ratings, but the info screen displays the rating. Widgets don’t update unless you interact with it or the app. The widget also has the app icon over the artwork - annoying.

I like the simplicity of the UI and the styling of the album and playlist elements. The lyrics pane is a clever implementation too. I would like to be able to perform actions such as like/dislike, changing modifying or hiding Home page sections or changing the style of the background elements.
This is music player is top notch. My favorite part is definitely it's presentation. The amount of adaptive colors that is on display when you view your Now Playing, Album, Playlist, Artist Page and so on, has received so much care and attention, and it shows. Navigations between the different tabs (which are customizable) is extremely smooth and intuitive although more sorting options such as being able to sort by recently added while in the song or album tabs (similar to ios' native music app) would be a nice addition. One feature that is unfortunately a deal breaker for me is the inability too see what is Up Next in your music queue. Having to switch back to the native music app whenever I want to see or edit my queue really doesn't do it for me and I wished it was present in Power Player. I do hope that something of the sort gets implemented into the app in future updates. Overall the app is one of the best out there, the masterful implementation of adaptive colors is unmatched by any other music player out there which will keep me coming back. Edit: I really appreciate the response, thank you for all that you've done on this player!
This is a good alternative to the Apple Music app, but I wish I can search the entire Apple Music catalog and add songs to my playlist. That’s the only downside I’ve come across so far.
Loving what you’ve done but wondering about a couple of things: Is there a way to disable lyrics and have the now playing the only thing displayed? Any plans to allow this to be decoupled from using the Music.app and allow me to upload to PowerPlayer itself?
I haven’t had the app for long but I am really enjoying it. My favorite part is the ability to rotate my device and things will orient accordingly. I really like the new widget function too. If I could say one thing, and it’s honestly so minor it almost doesn’t matter, but I think it would be nice to pick a permanent background or background color both in app and for the widget.
