Impossible to know there is a second app
The onboarding I just completed had me download the app. When told to open the app and follow the instructions I will of course open the app I just downloaded and get annoyed that there is no way of scanning the QR code in the app. The link to this correct app is on my PC, and the QR code next to that link is not a QR code to download the app. There is no way of knowing that there is a seperate app for 2FA, and with the link being on the computer it is not a useful tool to get that app installed on my phone. There needs to be a QR code to download the app on the phone, and the name of the new app needs to be stated for users not comfortable with QR codes. Essentially, communicate that the term «The app» now referes to something different than what you told me was «the app» a minutes ago.
