I totally recommend to those that always have their phone on low battery. PowerOn SG its more flexible when it comes to payment. Especially when I only used it for a few hours and I do not want to deposit a full amount to settle my bill. The option where my deposit can be refunded when i settle my full pending payment is also a feature that provides me enought sense of security for my spending. The customer service replies are also fast and insightful, clearing all my doubts and provide additional features i am unaware for. Thanks.

Easy to use, rates about $2/hour max $6/day. I think slightly pricey for the speed it charges (I charged for 1h it charged about 20%) but wouldn’t complain esp if u need a quick charge. The last time I used it customer service was pretty bad liek what others said I got ghosted BUT I think it has improved significantly. I liked that the app also have locations for u to find the charging stations easily. Overall highly recommend if u need quick charge

I am a housewife whose not very tech savvy. I was at Ng Teng Fong and my phone was going to be flat. I asked around and a staff directed me to Power bank renting machine at a&e beside some food vending machines. I was quite clueless and i slowly followed the instructions and decided to try it. At first scan qr code, to make a $20 deposit by Paynow. (Can pay by Alipay or Wechat too) The power bank was released immediately. So i charged, then was not sure how to return it and to get my balance deposit, so i watsapp them at the given number. They replied me after few minutes and clarified that I have to make separate Paynow for my rental of $1.50 for 60 minutes of charging. My iphone charged to nearly 40+ percentage which was not bad. Then follow the instructions to return the power bank back into the machine. Then go to Poweron sg app. Go to Profile, go Wallet, click Withdraw and the deposit of $20 was immediately credited back to my account. Wow! I expected it to be a scam but was pleasantly surprised. They do not deduct your rental payment from your deposit. Thats the confusing part. I have informed them to put clearer instructions on their machine. I will definitely use them again in future. Rented a charger last minute because i didnt have power bank with me. Shocked by the 20dollar deposit but i thought it will be ok as long as i get my deposit back. However, after i returned the power bank and ‘withdrew my deposit’ , my money just vanished into thin air and is no where to be seen. Furthermore the apps interface is rather user unfriendly. 100% scam please do not use
