Still awful
Subscribed and can’t download anything. Still have to buy issues which don’t stay put or downloaded. Flicking through pages the app crashes and closes. Gave a bad review 3 years ago. Nothings improved. Does anyone read these ?

As well as stunning photographs, each issue will feature technical help, product information and health care advice to keep your pet in tip top condition plus new developments in the reptile world, breeder updates and vet's casebook and much more.

This is a free app download. Within the app users can purchase the current issue and back issues.
Subscriptions are also available within the application. A subscription will start from the latest issue.
Available subscriptions are:
6 months: £8.99 / US$8.99 [3 issues]
12 months: £14.99 / US$14.99 [6 issues]
-This subscription has a free trial period of 30 days. At the end of the 30 days the full price of the subscription will be charged.
-You may cancel a subscription during its free trial period via the subscription settings on your iTunes account. This must be done 24 hours before the end of the subscription period to avoid being charged.
-The subscription will renew automatically unless cancelled more than 24 hours before the end of the current period, you will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period, for the same duration and at the current subscription rate for the product.
-You may turn off the auto-renewal of subscriptions through your Account Settings, however you are not able to cancel the current subscription during its active period.
-Payment will charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when a subscription to that publication is purchased
Bundles of single issues can be also be bought within the application. To use purchased credits, simply click on the issue price and select ‘use credit’. This allows you to purchase back issues at reduced prices.
Users can register for/ login to a pocketmags account in-app. This will protect their issues in the case of a lost device and allow browsing of purchases on multiple platforms. Existing pocketmags users can retrieve their purchases by logging into their account.
We recommend loading the app for the first time in a wi-fi area so that all issue data is retrieved.
If your app will not load past the splash page after a first install or an update please delete and reinstall the app from the App Store

Great Magazine, Mediocre App
The magazine itself is fantastic, with stunning pictures, relevant and up-to-date information (with references to the original source papers) and useful articles and adverts. However, I have found that the app itself, especially on the ipad, has a lot of issues with crashing and downloading. Would have rated 5 stars if it weren't for these issues, which are no closer to being fixed since the app's inception.

Read the previous three reviews, have a iPhone 4 and a iPad 3 boy with latest iOS and works fine for me.
Doesn't get past loading screen :(
I've been a subscriber of this magazine for years now. Previous versions of is app have worked fine until now. It just won't load past the loading screen and keeps crashing !! Please sort it out FIX ASAP !

Does not work!
Worked fine the first time I used it, but since then it will not get past the title screen! I have tried deleting the app, then doing a full reboot. (Not just turning iPad off and on). Then started again with downloading, but still it just crashes. PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE get it sorted as I love your mag.But i am starting to get frustrated now.

Big improvement with this update! Text could be sharper when you zoom in, but its a lot better!
