It’s finally here for iOS, an app that simulates a boxing coach and calls out realistic, fast paced combinations.

The boxing coach simulator calls out boxing techniques for you to execute, there are 4 modes and 3 intensity levels. This includes a Southpaw Mode, Counter Punching Mode, Virtual Padwork and Combo Creator Mode.

Choose as many rounds as you like, adjust the round length, the rest between rounds, and set a warning bell to tell you how many seconds are left in the round. Press ‘Start’ and get to work!

Doesn’t work

Switches off when screen locks, pointless and frustrating

Add body punches to combo creator

Very good app but we need body punches in combo creator as it will allow us to have a wider range of combos with the included body strikes instead of just having head strikes there

Name a better alternative to live rounds

I see a lot of negative write ups but this is a small time app giving people who want to level up a chance. Whether they’re in lockdown or just can’t afford to be coached. I’ve been through several apps like this and Jason and his team have done the best job. So before you complain, put in the work, stop using bugs as an excuse to stop and better yourself before criticising others. Loving the combos, they work for real.

Can’t play music in the background

Needs an update!

App freezes

The app freezes during the first round. It has to be re opened to work again. Plz fx.

Crashes after less than a minute

Start the exercise and after less than a minute it stops. Open the app and have to start over again. Waste of money

Good but could be better

Call outs can sometimes cut each other off and come across unclear as the combos progress. How to videos don't work, would be nice to have a quick video explanation/demo of each call out. More you use it the easier it becomes tho, and its always easier to train when someone is shouting at you!

Good app but missing videos

I really respect JT as a boxing coach because he really knows his stuff and is a great teacher as i've learnt from watching his videos on Youtube. This app is a great tool for training but the videos seem to be missing. Would be great if these could be added in the future. Thank's JT

Good boxing app.

Very happy this the app and it works well. Only downside is the instructional videos don't yet work. I'm sure this will be sorted soon.

Well thought out

This is such a well thought out app. It calls out punches and defensive moves in sequence and in turn builds up combo moves. This works because the "moves" all have a number or short phrase (eg 1=jab) this allows you to focus completely on your speed and stringing combo moves together. It's like having coach in the room with you. Thanks author for a very well thought out app. Will be recommending this to boxing buddies.
