This company has a business model of taking bookings and your money and if they can get you the room, you sometimes get it, but, don’t be surprised if you turn up in a foreign country after many hours of travelling with ur wife and kids to be told that there is no booking. You are then stuck without a room and have to pay for the holiday accommodation again at the current rate, if you have the funds available still on you bank card, a bonus is they will never refund your money for the booking and will just say, “we are sorry we couldn’t get the room because the hotel was booked out”, If you happen to book just one night and cancel within the time to get a full refund, forget it, money gone. You won’t be refunded, they will make excuses like “I will escalate your request”, “I will push hard for you to get the refund”, or “we are working hard behind the scenes to get that refund processed”. Don’t take my word for it, Google “Prestigia scam” and read the reviews yourself. Don’t take a chance of turning up and not having a room, don’t risk losing your money if you have to cancel within the stated time frame of being allowed to cancel with a full refund. This is their business model. Read reviews on other sites and if you have to, pay more for a guaranteed room, just pay a few dollars more. Apple can contact me for my emails and call history to validate my claims listed above or they can also read reviews of the dozens and dozens of people who have had their honeymoon, or family holiday ruined as they turned up and didn’t have a room or the people who are still waiting on thousands of dollars in a refund that never came or the people who only got their money back after disputing the payment with their bank. Companies like this should be blocked from using the banking system. Don’t risk your hard earned money on this company.

They failed to disclose hidden fees, such as resort fees or VAT charges, and even charged me twice for a single transaction. Furthermore, their customer service is the worst I’ve encountered among travel apps. To make matters worse, they are flagged as high-risk by credit card companies. Also, I should mention that getting your refund from them is not easy. You will be forced to go through a dispute process at the end of the day.

I tried booking a vacation in a Secrets resort in Mexico. I used the Prestigia app for one booking and on- line Prestigia booking through UK. The price quotes were $780 and $1420 for the identical room and times. Direct bookings with Hyatt reservations (no payment) was $769. Why would anyone book with Prestigia??

This is a horrible company who scams consumers. They’ve found many loopholes in the booking systems and you’ll see hundreds of stories of people who have been taken advantage of in disgusting ways.
