Inaccessable

Where’s the book? on

United States

Today I cannot access the ebook I paid for. Very inconvenient. Not sure what the issue is but no books show for me and I cannot log back in with the same email I bought the book under. What gives?

Unreliable and slow customer support

Paul-7891223 on

USER BEWARE: This app crashes once every five times I open it. There is a known issue that causes an error message to appear stating “Email address not recognised”. Even after re-starting my phone and re-installing the app, I cannot fix it myself. I’ve contact customer service when this occurs and each time the reset my credentials, which allows me access, but I still have the issue occurring! Customer service does not work weekends, so support is insufficient. I paid for ebooks that I cannot access!! Shame on Glassboxx and shame on Princeton Press for using Glassboxx to host their ebooks.

HORRIBLE- 0 Stars

I needed a book for a class and I swear I should’ve bought it off Amazon because this is ridiculous how many blatant problems there are. So sorry if you have the MISFORTUNE of having to buy from here. Yes. I know there’s an email that will help. Cuz these BOTS will respond to anything negative. Do not sympathize. Just fix ur problems that you so blatantly have.

Highlights , bookmarks bad

Bringing up Baby on

United States

Can’t highlight text on android. On iOS, can highlight, but no notebook — you must return and laboriously search for your highlights. Bookmarking wastes time. Every month or so I must delete and reinstall app.

Extremely Disappointing App Experience

Gavin_M_Leighton on

United States

I purchased a book with a considerable amount of code that needs to be run. Much of this code the authors include helps generate figures to explain their points, but is not necessary to dig into or learn. However, the PUP reading platform limits how much text can be copied, and thus after two chapters am stuck trying to type out dozens of lines of code that is simply meant to be copied and run. If PUP does not have a platform that can accomodate programming books then they shouldn't be publishing them.

What is this??

Pegasus.Tales on

This app needs a hard refresh. Why this was every deployed for use is absolutely beyond me. Do yourself a favor and just get a hardcopy of what ever book you are trying to read. The app crashes, window resizing is impossible, sometimes the book won't even load.

Garbage!

RXT on

What garbage this app is! The question is, why does it exist?

Awful app, do NOT download

Don’tdownloadpupressapp on

United States

I purchased an eBook for a class that was 20 dollars and I was only able to get into the app twice before being locked out and unable to see my book or log back in once I signed out. This app is terrible, clearly designed by morons and should not be downloaded by anyone. Take this warning.

Bad when it works, I guess worse when broken

ASDFastro on

United States

lately I can’t even get my book, just the white screen of death. But even when it worked, there was no table of contents, search or anything. Hard to imagine a worse iPad app. No excuse since the desktop version is fine.

This should not be its own app

reviewerpedro on

United States

The PDF reader is so obnoxious. It constantly jumps forward and backward when I’m trying to scroll down. There’s no way to disable this behavior. Edit: I wish I could lower the rating because now the app won’t even load the books I paid for anymore. Again, why does PUP not just email you an epub or PDF like any other ebook store?
