Protect Your Online Payments

Published by: Pay With Privacy

Description

Stop exposing your credit or debit card information and protect your online payments with Privacy. Join over 250,000 users who have saved millions of dollars by using Privacy to block unwanted charges from compromised cards, overcharging, hidden fees, and forgotten subscriptions.
Getting started with Privacy is simple: create your account, verify your information, securely link your bank account or debit card, and request your first virtual card. Start shopping and enjoy the added layer of protection Privacy provides to protect you from payment card theft and fraud.
Benefits:
- Shield your true financial information: Our Privacy Cards mask your debit card or bank account number to help protect you from card theft and fraud. Pay with greater privacy and security anytime, anywhere on desktop or on mobile.
- Create merchant-locked and one-time-use cards: Our cards automatically "lock" to the first merchant they are used at, so if the merchant is ever breached, the card number can never be used anywhere else. You can also create one-time-use cards that automatically close after a single transaction.
- Take complete control over your spending: Set customizable spending limits to prevent overcharging and block hidden fees—perfect for managing subscriptions and recurring expenses. If a transaction goes over the limit, we will automatically decline it.
- Leverage real-time transaction monitoring: Receive notifications any time a Privacy Card is used. Easily pause, unpause, and close Privacy Cards any time with just one push of a button.
Privacy’s core product is free to use on domestic transactions, because, like other card companies, we collect transaction fees from merchants. Privacy Cards can be used at most merchants that accept credit and debit cards.
The security of our users’ personal information and data is critical to everything that we do at Privacy. You can review our security policies at https://privacy.com/security.

Perfect until 3.3.11 update

Charmed59 on

United States

I’ve been using Privacy for maybe 3 yrs now. Love it and all the features that not only keep my funds safe but also gives me the snapshot I need of my spending habits. Since the update to 3.3.11, the transactions list isn’t showing the statuses like it used to on the right side. Where’s the “Pending”, “Settling”, and “Settled” statuses? I now have to make a few extra clicks: first on the card, then scroll down to the transaction and click on that to see the status. My viewpoint is the devs broke something. Some cards I prefer to put on Pause once a charge is settled which was so easy to see for the past 3 yrs until the 3.3.11 update. I hope you fix this. Please.

Harvesting Biometric Data Disguised by “Privacy”

Infoseek2025 on

United States

Don’t be fooled by the app’s name. Privacy app claims to protect user privacy while systematically harvesting sensitive biometric information under misleading premises This is NOT privacy. Read the terms and conditions. They demand from users to take selfies, upload photos of their IDs front & back, your SSN, then wait for a “verification review” Similar to companies that have a recorded message that says “Your call is important for us, please hold” while being on hold for 30 mins, then they hang up on you. My account was verified and good to go. No, you must connect your bank account thru Plaid, or use an “approved” debit card. Good luck finding one. After all that, you attempt to use one of their virtual cards for a simple transaction, it will either be declined, or you must wait for days to process. Requesting account deletion via email is a straightforward process, but Privacy has to make it impossible to do so. After I sent them an email to request deletion of my account 3 weeks ago, I still haven’t heard back from their nonexistent support.

Paused for NO reason

I have 3 weeks with the account paused without reason, NO contact number for help, only by email, I have been sending alot of emails but they do not respond, very irresponsible service👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Two factor id does not work

Trying to sign up. Email address is correct but no emails arrive. Checked spam folder. Tried to use support link on web site but the bot clearly is not smart enough to understand and answer the problem. Leaving a review seems to be the only way to potentially communicate

A must have

BorgCzar on

This app is has to be one of the most essential financial apps on my phone. I use a Privacy card for every internet transaction I do. Especially for this that have a subscription or reoccurring charge. This app gives you full control of those. You can chose if or when you want to be charged. No more surprise charges because you forgot to cancel a trial. They even do charge backs and disputes. I love how each card is locked to a merchant. I have had fraud attempts several times. These cards saved me. I’ll always use these cards.

Doesn't help when always "under review".

Chаrlіе on

United States

Why is it whenever I wanted to make a purchase with a virtual card I couldn't? My account was ALWAYS "under review". Does NOT help when I want to make a purchase but can't! Might as well use my Apple Card everywhere!

Annoying

Meowmixlvr on

United States

Required giving first and last name, address, SSN, front and back of driver’s license, and a selfie to enable account. Actually, that wasn’t even enough, I had to email their support too! What’s next, my first born child? A DNA test? Ridiculous amounts of hoops to jump through just to create temporary cards.
