Description

Tame your household (your kids that is) with this easy-to-use chore chart and rewards system. Stop begging your kids to do their chores and let them beg you, instead, for the chance to earn points. Setup is easy: First define the chores and behaviors that will earn points. Now add the privileges or rewards that motivate your kids - Video game time? A sleepover? Allowance money?

Chore charts and point systems have been around for a long time because they work. Privilege Points takes it to the next level by putting a chore chart and family organizer right in the palm of your hand. Easily keep track of who has completed daily or weekly chores, and keep your whole family in sync with timely notifications. Great for one kid, and a life saver for any more than that.

Add as many chores, tasks, good behaviors, privileges, and penalties as you need. Add all your kids. Invite as many adults to join your family as you'd like; parents, grandparents, sitters, and other caregivers can all participate.

Premium Features:
Personalized Lists - Customize each child's list of Tasks, Privileges, and Penalties.
Point and Privilege Requests - Kids can request Points and Privileges from their own phones. Parents review, accept or deny those requests from their own phone.
Task Reminders - Turn on reminders for kids, parents, or both. Reminders can be configured separately for each child and for each Task so you decide where and when reminders make sense.
Backdating - If you forgot to accept Tasks or account for Privileges the previous day, backdating helps keep things in order.

Flexible - Every family is different, and Privilege Points can adapt to your parenting style. You define the point values for all tasks, the cost of each privilege, and the fine for every penalty. Privileges can be anything you want. Create privileges to limit screen time or set up privileges to convert points to cash to manage allowance.

Set Limits and Deadlines - Set a deadline if you want a chore to be done before some time of day. Set limits on how many times per day, week, or month a certain task or privilege can be done.

Required and Optional Tasks - Required Tasks are assigned to one or more children and will always show up at the top of their task lists. Optional tasks can be added that don't have a set schedule but can be done on an as-needed basis.

Timed Privileges and Penalties - A built in timer and alarm lets you effortlessly keep track of multiple kids, privileges, and penalties.

Always In Sync - All your data lives securely in the cloud, so all the phones and tablets in your family are in sync all the time. Install on as many devices as you'd like.

Child Lock - Lock Privilege Points in read-only mode on any device used by your children. Each device can be locked for a specific child, or as a shared device for multiple kids to use. They can see their Task Lists and their point totals, but they can't change anything.

Notifications - Mom and Dad will always be in sync with Privilege Points Notifications. Notifications are sent for each task completed and for every privilege granted so everyone always knows who is doing what.

Activity History - A history of every point earned and every privilege granted keeps track of who did what when—invaluable for those times when there is any disagreement or confusion about what was completed or which privileges were awarded.

The coolest thing ever!!!

Good so far…

But is there a way to have the tasks greyed out for everyone once completed by whichever child? Like I don’t need the fish fed 10 times. Just by whichever kid gets to it first, but I want them all to have all the jobs available to them. It’ll just be whoever is more motivated or whoever has more time available to get jobs done. Is this a feature that I can’t figure out or it doesn’t exist?

This app is so good

I just wanted a simple point list. Did not want to have to deal with emails logins verification codes etc. was trying to make things simpler not a headache.

Reasonable app

Doing some of the tasks I’d hoped for but after paying found it doesn’t do a lot of extra things I thought could be part of the app

Even the kids like it

We started using the app a couple of weeks ago and love it. The kids are involved in deciding the privileges so they are earning points for things they actually care about and they can keep a track of their points on the iPad. Surprisingly, Master 7 (baby of the family) had a hard time adjusting but is now onboard and happy to do jobs to earn points. Master 12 (ADHD) took to it immediately; being rewarded works much better than punishment and we’ve noticed a significant change in his behaviour. 😊

Love it!

We have 8 children and have implemented this for the primary school kids. It’s working well. They have become self motivated in doing their jobs and aware of the penalties for tantrums and disobedience. So far this has had wonderful results at reminding the kids of good behaviour. We have a long list of available points and jobs and only one reward so far. 5 points for 30 minutes screen time. It’s limited screen time and all screen time must be earned in exchange for points. Two birds! Jobs finally getting done by keen willing children without being nagged and less screen time. Many thanks for this brilliant app.

I love this app

This app has been a life changer! I have 4 children aged primary and early high school and this has been a great way to change bad habits and start new ones. They are keen to do their chores, practice their musical instruments and do their homework. They are even fighting over who gets to cook dinner and empty the dishwasher (something I never thought would happen). I am not yelling about things let on the floor or messy rooms either. Nor are thy asking if they can watch tv, play computer games or have sleepovers because they know if they don’t have enough points. The biggest thing for me is to make sure to allocate the penalties so that learn to break bad habits like not putting things away. The best thing is that they love this system as much as I do. We’ve been using it for about 6 weeks and we will keep using it. So thank you!

Excellent

I set a privilege for my 8 yr old to earn 70 points to earn a fortnight magazine, he just achieved it and very proud of himself. He wins and I win. I used to just give him stuff. Downside, it’s going to be a lot of fortnight talk for a while 😆
