Bought this game to get rid of the crap ads and to learn something about Pool. This is a great game full of entertainment and challenges. Love it.
Best and most realistic snooker games for an iPad I've found and it follows the rules unlike others! Well worth buying the full version with both the snooker and the pool. Worth the 5 star rating. Recommended Now 2021 Dropped from 5 to 4 star as, by now, I would have hoped to be able to ‘bend’ the cue ball to get out of a snooker! Is this being considered?
Excellent game and very user friendly, play a few frames every day nearly.
Any lover of cue sports should own this game great ball physics and loads of different game types to keep you interested
Great app to while away time at airports or appointments or just anytime!!
1: Physics - some of the game physics are just unrealistic. E.g. you play a long shot, just hard enough to pot the ball, but with backspin: and the cue ball rolls back a bit. In real life the backspin would have been taken out of the cue ball on such a shot (you really need to punch it to retain the backspin) and cue ball wouldn’t roll back. Also shot power and bounce / spin reaction coming off the cushion are a bit inconsistent in terms of the results they produce. 2: AI - it’s dreadful! Even on Legendary it plays rubbish positional shots which means it has to play a crazy pot (which it usually gets) or a safety. The safety game of the AI is so bad it’s funny. 3: Camera angles - would like to see the ability to zoom in and to get right behind a ball so you can really judge whether it will pass another ball. In summary: the game feels very smooth, it has lots of gameplay options, and graphics are good. But given the issues above I’m afraid I would not recommend spending £8 on it.
Will keep giving 1 star until I’m not asked to rate the game ever 5 minutes
Apart from annoying noises when you apply side to the cue ball this game is brilliant. Varied skill option levels and a variety of games to play.
Would love a good update new tournaments and a career mode even needs some updating
