Works about 10% of the time. I wouldn’t rely on this app to get you into your building—I’ve been locked out more than a few times. Revision of earlier one-star review. The app itself is a bit clunky and spotty, but tech support is excellent in providing prompt and helpful information to rectify any problems that arise. I’d happily give five stars for their ability to solve problems.
Spent an hour trying to troubleshoot with our building facilities staff and got exactly nowhere. Did all the usual song and dance of reinstalling, rebooting, replacing credentials, the works. Nothing helps; it simply doesn’t do anything now despite having worked fine last month. Cursory testing would reveal this kind of problem, but it’s clear PDK sees everyone using their products as their QA department.
Not sure all the negativity towards this app, manage many sites with it, but I don’t use mobile credentials seems like alot of the problems are on the mobile credential side but management aspect is great for traditional access
App is junk. Haven’t worked once.
This seems so silly to say but if you use PDK door sensorsC wouldn’t it be obvious to search for PDK app? Nope. You need to remember the company name (prodatakey). Also can’t understand why we can’t open a door with our phones - either via wallet or automatically as a “swipe.” It works fine and as expected once in the app IF I need to open the app.
Please steer clear of any apartment building that makes you use this app. Not only does it not work in parking garages where it’s needed to enter but I’ve had it not respond to touch, glitch, and be shut down for hours with no warning or help. If my roommate hadn’t been home, I would’ve been locked out of my apartment building. Highly recommend never having to use this app.
Not the most elegant interface but it does work. It's limited to only one device so if you have 2 phones you're out of luck. No widgets and no shortcuts. It would be nice to open my gate with the action button.
