The app loses connection to the thermometer from across the room let alone from another room.

Even with fresh batteries, the app never connected to the thermometer when it was sitting right next to it. Thermometer works well on its own, but no alarm for temperature because of lack of Bluetooth connection.

The buttons sometimes take several taps to acknowledge your command but persistence prevails. Bluetooth connected instantly and I’m running the steel braided probe cords in over 300F and they haven’t failed! Don’t buy the negative hype from the crybabies that unfortunately bought a lemon / defective unit. Give it a try, I bet it works!!!

After the opening splash videos, a “skip” button cannot be accessed without using IOS “Reachability” to move screen image down. Go to Settings>Accessibility>Touch, then turn on Reachability Then, swipe down on bottom edge of the screen. The screen image will move down to bottom half of the screen- making the skip button accessible. Tap the upper half of the screen to restore display. Otherwise, app is clunky- but it works on my IPhone 11

Never found the sensor at hand distance away.

I have an iPhone 14 and the top portion of the app that controls back arrows and the menu is very difficult to get to work. You have to tap numerous time from various locations. In addition, the layout and the function of the app is very confusing on something that does not have to be.

It won’t even load past the intro screen just freezes there. Glad I wasted $50 on this thermometer, not like I have moths to feed or anything.

Très difficile de naviguer dans le menu puisque lorsque l’on clique dessus il ne veut pas s’ouvrir comme si l’interface de l’application était mal calibrer vs le tactile de l’iPhone.. dommage

The display is not calibrated properly so I can’t access the menus at the top of the app which renders the app useless.
