Description

Hymns are enjoyed in many places and in a variety of occasions. Sometimes, it seems like everyone has their own hymn books with different versions of the same hymns. Sometimes, somebody wants to sing a hymn but nobody knows how to sing or play it. Not anymore.
Introducing Project Hymnal, the crowd-sourced hymnal. A hymnal where everyone can learn, everyone can contribute to, and everyone will love to use.
You will now be able to have the most up-to-date versions of hymns and all the newest songs at your disposal—all offline. Learn a new song, listen to instrumentals, view music sheets, and play guitar all from your device. Any time, anywhere.
And if you don't see a song? Upload it through the app. We'll review it and make it available for all our users. The purpose of this non-profit application is to make hymns available to learn, enjoy, and, eventually, personalize. If you own rights to a hymn that was uploaded by one of our users and do not want it in our system, please contact us and we will work with you.

Great app

Great but sometimes glitchy when switching orientation. Wish there was a way to transpose chords for hymns.

This all is phenomenal for the church life. Yiu had a favorites function where I could just press a heart and the hymn would be added to my favorites, and it’s no longer there :(. Now i can’t add songs to my favorites. I liked it because I could find my favorite songs easier whenever I wanted to sing. Could we get that function back?

Such a great help

How do you search hymns by number?

Can be better

I like the fact that you can listen to and sing the hymnals thru iPhone and it is free. But here are some areas can be improved. 1. I wish that you can save your favorite songs so that you don’t have to search thru it again. There is a heart button on the top right hand corner but that button means nothing. 2. All of the sudden music stops playing when you rotate your phone in the horizontal way in the sheet music page. You can’t sing in the portrait mode because everything is so tiny. 3. I wish there is a bridge in the beginning of the songs but that can be too much of an ask. If it is really a decent hymnal app, I don’t mind purchasing it.

Well Done !!

I cannot say more. Thanks for helping so much. It's a timely help for places cannot reach paper pack hymns.
