How much does Project Plan 365 cost?
Project Plan 365 has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is USD 129.99.
Overall Project Plan 365 is a good alternative to MS Project, however it is not productivity friendly. It is not 100% compatible with a mouse/trackpad and a keyboard on iPad. Also, it has an annoying bug, every time you enter a cell to type something it zooms in everything and when you finish typing and exit the cell it doesn’t zooms back. In conclusion, it is a good alternative but not a productive one.
Purchased but Keep saying TRIALPeriod is OVER!. Scam???!
The price is not an issue, I have purchased them.. but when I want to use them in my MacBookPro… the notification of “YOUR FREE TRIAL IS OVER” keeps annoying.. is this a scam????
Like so many things you can’t figure out how much it costs unless you down load
Sorry it would help if you were straight forward about costs. Instead you have to download to figure that out.
Has improved this past year from 1 to 4 stars
On an Ipad Pro M1, latest OS and latest PP365. User Interface has been dramatically improved. Predecessor/successor entries work as expected now. (2fs, 2ss, etc. for dependencies entries). Outdent/Indent (demote/promote) now works nicely (tab and shift tab that you’d use in MS Project can’t be used, but it’s an iPad user interface and the outdent/indent buttons on top work well. All the bugs seen a year ago as the app originally tuned for a Mac Desktop interface didn’t like touch interface of an iPad are gone. Still doesn’t offer Saving a File to icloud, so if you want to save there, you will still have to save to local device (default folder is DOCUMENTS), then use Filer to move the file to the iCloud. All the other industry standard cloud storage environments are available (dropbox, onedrive, etc.). Import and Export from/to MPP works flawlessly now. All the fields expected stay intact. Auto-Save will post the latest version (I have AS set to every 5 minutes) to a subfolder named RECOVERY. This is working nicely now (prior the folder was being created named RECORVERY). Being able to create tasks and subtasks quickly, without being forced to fill out all the additional columns, and then go back to do all that additional work later was buggy a year ago, but is now working nicely. Like I mentioned, a lot of user interface and feature/function improvements for the IOS platform! The Online HELP web site screens now have far more content for IOS/IPAD OS than they did before. Glad to see that! File/Print - this is still buggy. When you select Save to Files, a popup flashes and vanishes. So this still needs work. There is a work around. Instead of Print to PDF, choose Print. That brings up the iPad OS print view. Use two fingers to expand the left column’s page icons and that trick lets you now save as a PDF to a File or other destinations. This is about the only way to get any sort of a GANTT chart printed, but the formatting of the GANTT is a bit messed up. So again, there’s more work needed there. Other Reports though seem to work but certain reports will require a Business License (I still don’t grasp this tiered approach. As an individual PM, i use this so I don’t have to carry around an 5+ pound laptop while traveling. Developer should really just make all the reports and views available to any licensed user (whether individual or business). I don’t have 5 staff and I’d rather pay a SMALL bump to get ALL the reports and functions available rather than leap
Glitchy, unreliable on iPad Pro, LOTS of problems. Don’t buy. Keep looking.
Just bought the trial activation subscription. At first use, there’s a lot of problems least of which is contrary to what is advertised, this does NOT have same user interface as MS Project. You can’t use Insert key on keyboard. You can’t use Enter, Ctrl/CMD Enter, Tab, Shift Tab. None of that works (ipad pro 2021 M1 12.9” and magic keyboard). Predecessor entries are a bit funky. It can’t recognize 2fs (task is successor to task ID 2 with a finish/start relationship). So when you hit ENTER after clicking the predecessor cell twice slowly (if you click it twice fast, a full unnecessary view of all task settings pops up, and worse still, that pop up is fixed at center of screen, so you can’t move it to the side and use it to fill in task details for other tasks for instance), the 2fs entry disappears. If however you type 2FS (upper case), like magic ENTER makes it stick. Sometimes. The ENTER key itself is glitchy. Sometimes you have to tap somewhere else on that task row on the screen to get back to main task or gantt sheet view (the ENTER key randomly does nothing). So there’s really odd things about it happening. This next few days will pull in MPP files and see how that goes and will send my PP365 MPP created files to folks with MS Project 2016 to see what they can see. The Help links (whether via Erix or other means) send you to a web form that pretends it has no idea who you are (so the erix link and the FILE/HELP menu do not pass along your details into the contact/help submittal). That web form’s text entry block does NOT like special characters like “double quotes”. If you add those, no matter what you do the submit will fail. Oddly the erix and other links to Help contact form also do not pass along the version of the software, so you have to manually hunt that in the app, copy, paste. Not sure who wrote pieces of this but QA is a mess. When you set auto saves to say every 5 or 10 minutes, you get a bit of a funny/disappointing surprise. Seems the author has spelling problems. It creates a folder named RECORVERY instead of RECOVERY. Just sayin. So if you are used to hammering out a set of tasks by hitting ENTER after each entry, THEN going back to set duration, resources, predecessor/successor relationships, forgeddaboudit. Also the help info on line (there’s nothing embedded in the app… all help paths send you to the web site) has practically nothing for ipad users. There’s stuff for PC’s, MACs, and iPhones. There’s mention of IOS (separate from iP
Trial Period Functionality
Have way through my tasks list the app suddenly froze.
Works Great1
I use it on my MacBook and IPad and never have any problems sending it to other PMs (.MPP files) or receiving their files.
It just works. Srd
No support, just starting out and no support, videos, not addressing the issues.
Support, lack of.
Good application
Very close to Microsoft project manager. I would really want a more ... Mac OS like design))
Can’t load local imported files, too expensive
I exported a project from another app in xml format to try here. When I go to import from my device, I have no option to select the folder that has the file. Worse, of all the cloud storage options accessible in the app, I couldn’t get Dropbox or OneDrive to work, and iCloud Drive isn’t an option. No iCloud, on an iPad? Really?
$130 per YEAR? No. Half of that as a one-time license purchase maybe, but not as a subscription.
