Good tool to have when living with ALS.

My name is Kade and I use this app to help me with my anxiety. I have Cerebral Palsy, and it has helped me with so many things! I have anxiety around ordering, asking for a water refill, and ask for help. I can speak verbally, but need this app sometimes. I love this app! Thank you so much for making it possible for me to have on my phone.

Most versatile, useful & reliable text-to-speech app
After Nagish became certified for Internet Protocol Captioned Telephone Service (IP CTS), I had to stop using it due to FCC rules forbidding all but those who have the most severe decibel hearing losses from using IP CTS. I was relying on their text-to-speech functionality to make calls. Now I use this app with my Google Voice account and I can make and receive calls like that. Proloquo4Text also works with Messenger so I can easily call my non-signing family and friends there and use this app to talk to them. (I am fluent in American Sign Language.) I am very pleased with Proloquo4Text😀

Officially the best paid text AAC app
I've been using Proloquo4Text for some time, and have always found the interface to be clean and logical, especially with the many customization options to show or hide certain features. I get overwhelmed by visual clutter, so that is very helpful. Mixing the iPad onscreen keyboard's word prediction with Proloquo's prediction or using AssistiveWare's Keeble, communication is generally very efficient. But now, the option to use both Personal Voice and Apple TTS voices cements it as my favorite AAC app. While I like the Acapela Heather voice well enough, most of the other voices didn't resonate with me, and generally didn't fit my accent. Now, Proloquo works amazingly with my Personal Voice, and sometimes I'll switch to Zoe Premium if I need extra clarity without boosting the volume--my own voice is a bit soft around the edges--for articulation similar to mine. It is wonderful to have so many choices to find what suits you best; it makes Proloquo4Text well worth the price, especially if you use AAC frequently or full-time.
Passcode????
There is a passcode that was enabled on this app. I am umable to lock. It's not the passcode I have set on my son's ipad amd it's locked the app and made it unusable.
I really like it
I am recently disabled, I lost my tongue and larynx April 2021. My SLP got me on Proloquo2Go then I switched to Proloquo4Text So far I prefer text via my iPad. One idea would be to have an option to change the phone voice, like you do the live voice. I can switch to Darius live, but voice for my phone calls is doesn’t change
