Description

Managing your asthma or COPD can be challenging. Propeller is here to help you take charge of your breathing, so you can get back to doing the things you love.
Propeller is a digital health programme that has been used by over 140,000 people worldwide. Research shows that people who use Propeller have more days without symptoms[1] and fewer trips to the hospital or A&E.[2,3]
The Propeller app can help you to:
Never forget a dose: Stay on track with your medications and treatment plan.
Learn about your breathing: Discover what triggers your asthma or COPD so you can plan for the day ahead.
Work with your doctor: Reports help you to stay connected to your doctor between appointments.[4]
Feel supported: Personalised support helps you to take control of your breathing.
View all your health data in one place: Propeller can use HealthKit to export your inhaler usage data into the Health app and to read activity data.
When you connect your Propeller sensor to the mobile app:
Your sensor can automatically track when you use your inhaler and send that data to the app to help you to understand your breathing.
The app can include this information in reports, which can be shared with your doctor.
Your doctor can monitor your progress, personalise your treatment plan and provide support every step of the way.

Propeller Reviews

App is not recording correctly all the time.

I don't know why but Propeller is not recording all my usage. Sometimes I cannot inhale deeply. Maybe that is the problem.

Consistency

I’ve always struggled to take my meds at the same time consistently. This app has help me stay on schedule and subsequently improved my health. I love sharing the graph view with drs.

A wonderful companion

Reminds me to take my breathing medicine. Some days I really need the reminder! Thank you!

Batteries not replaceable

AutismStrong on

United States

I’ve been diagnosed with severe asthma since I was a wee lad and now struggling with both asthma and long Covid. The app itself is great, I like the way I can check off triggers, shows day and weather that might affect all that. But once the batteries of each inhaler’s top rans out, there’s no way to replace the batteries and making you have to afford pretty expensive cap again to go with. Batteries not being able to replace by user is not environmentally friendly and the thing is I use spriva which cost me $640+ per month because my insurance kicks it, and to afford some $70+ topping (last time I checked for my rescue inhaler tops), is just not affordable for me. Also you can’t buy the top/casing for inhaler from the app, unlike most Covid test kit app have a link to get test kit. I checked Amazon but it’s not there either. The inconvenience to get the casing renewed has to be improved.

Tracking My Trelegy

Lucky493 on

It is so nice to have a way to keep track of taking my dose of Trelegy everyday!

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

IndianaMedic911 on

Just found out that Propeller is going to close & has stopped providing sensors. Eventually they will stop providing app support also. This has been such a game changer for monitoring my asthma & COPD. Of course, as soon as we find a wonderful app with awesome sensors, that help us track & understand our triggers they decide to discontinue the program. I would like to have ALL of the current app users to contact Propeller support & convince them NOT to discontinue this amazing app & program!!

Best app. For people with asthma and COPD.

I’ve been using this app for the last four years, the sensor don’t work anymore but the app does. This app help me remind myself about taking my medication and not forgetting. When I do forget, I look at the app if I took it or not. Every time I take my medication, I have my phone and the app open like that I don’t forget to put the dose in. You have to create other gadgets for others medication that the sensor don’t fit. Like TRELLGY, I know it’s a cartridge. Definitely be hard to create a device. Thank you for creating this app.

Problem with upgrade ?

East Beth on

United States

Hi I’ve been using Propeller , and it has been helpful keeping track of my meds . Although , I’ve used the propeller up until the sensors stop working . Than I have a heck of a time keeping track , I move my times around the clock taking them at odd times like , 1:30am then the second dose 1:30 pm , 7:30 pm , 11:30 pm , etc . I’m not complaining about the times taking my medicines , I keep a log now on when I take them at different times , and if I miss a dose or two , I stop taking it , because I can’t remember if I took it or not . I emailed that the propeller wasn’t working right , now I enter a dose on my medication and it accepts it to save , but now every time I enter a dose the it won’t let me X out of the page , and I just shut off my phone to get back into the propeller App . I just got this phone a couple of weeks ago , and it worked ok until I sent an email of the problem . I still have my old phone and it does the same thing on that phone . It enters 12 times the same dosage I just took and the time is the same also 12 times . ? Bug fix ? I don’t know , upgrade again ? I don’t know , I hope someone can look into it thanks

New update is terrible!

Sally 77 on

United States

The latest update now requires more than double the number of things I have to do to record my daily maintenance meds. I have to manually enter routine medications twice daily and the update just added several extra steps to do that! Why would you make entering my meds MORE complicated? Seems updates are designed to improve an app. Not so this time.

Comforting to know that I am staying on track of my meds.

Knitter queen of the universe on

Can’t always find my Propeller inhaler, but when I do it’s comforting to know I can stay on track.
