Pullups Coach Pro Reviews

Gets the job Done

Phineas1161 on

This app is very simple and easy to use. The functions are all intuitive, which allow you to just get right into the actual pull-ups. Although the interface may not be beautiful, it serves its purpose. My one request would be for this to pair with the Apple Health app.

Nice Program for Cheap

Ayn Randy on

United States

Like the other programs in the bunch this is twice as easy and has realistic starting routines for those of us that are out of shape. I think I got mine on sale for a buck, definitely worth it. Of course this is not s must have app, you could go old school fine. But this is worth the money because of it's realistic workout rep ranges and rest times.

Good program. I have been using since I found the app

Straight forward, helping me work on my pull-ups and chin-ups

Easy to set up and follow

xredpathx on

United States

Simple, straightforward, easy to set up, easy to follow. Choose your fitness level, modify times/reps as needed, set reminders, and get going. All you have to do is show up. If you can't do an unassisted pull-up at the start, use resistance bands to pull down or help offset your body weight. Slowly move away from the bands by trying negative pull-ups (i.e. use a chair/bench to start at the top and slowly lower yourself down). By the end of the program you should be able to do several unassisted pull-ups. If necessary, cycle back through a few days. There is no rush.

NOT for beginners!

Runrgrl5855 on

This app is for people who can already do a couple of pull-ups, not for someone who is looking to do her first of many. I stated in my profile that I cannot do any, yet my Day 1 has me doing several to even get started. I was hoping for guidance on how to get to the point where I can do 1, then more and more. This app is useless to me. Beginners beware!!!

Great App but needs update

Great app! I use it everyday to increase my pull-ups but after the 20 pull-ups there needs to be more workouts please and thank you!!

Great app

Keeps you on track

Improved strength with this app. Although you do need to already be able to do a few pull ups on your own. Use a Rubberbandit if you can't and you'll soon be able to do a few. UI a little clunky but it works.
