How does it work?
To record a punch, grip iPhone tightly and punch. App records a punch motion at the inertial frame of reference using gyroscope and accelerometer data and saves the punch.
All information about a punch is revealed now.
Graph of speed and all the punch rates: acceleration, distance, power, duration, reaction time.
On speed graph you can see how your punch accelerates and swing as first peak if it exists.
You can record another punch to make a comparison, or you can share your punch.
You can choose appropriate units: kilograms or pounds, kilometers per hour or meters per second and etc.
You can record any kind of punch and not only the punch but any motion of your body.
Technical data:
On iPhone 4S application can’t work properly. Punch speed on iPhone 4S may be 2 times lower, but duration and reaction time are still correct. App works perfectly on iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone SE. But it may be not that easy to grip iPhone 6 Plus or iPhone 6S Plus when you punch.
Speed measurement error is not more than 5% in most cases. Maximum acceleration is about 16g. Power is calculated approximately, with special formula based on your skills level, punch speed, and your mass. Put your mass in a punch to get more accurate result. Distance is calculated with small deviation when you punch the air. You get a straight distance between punch starting point and punch ending point. Time accuracy is limited to 10 ms.
Warning! Use this app only at your own risk! Make sure that you hold your iPhone strong enough and be careful when you punch! Developer disclaims any responsibility.

I can finally express my talents as a black belt thanks to this app. My only concerns is that it is easy for hackers to hack and change the values on my phone, but I’ll do everything I can to record those values and promote the app. I learned thanks to this app that I’m one of the fastest punchers in the world.

Love this app! Although not 100% accurate I would love to see someone beat my record of 1994lbs

It’s eh

It’s a good app but functionality wise it’s pretty bad I’m using this on a iPhone 11 Pro Max and every time I’m stopping my punches the force of my punch is causing me to have bruises on the palm side of my skin. There’s also the risk of throwing your phone too. I would say just because you have to hold the darn thing you should have like a estimate of how much faster your hand would have punched I you didn’t have to worry about holding your precious thousand dollar phone. The only concrete thing to learn about your punches with this app would be it’s speed but even that is 2-bit. If you can make a estimation of how much faster your punch would actually be if you didn’t need to hold it, it would be way better.

Excellent app

It is a great tool to train for speed without buying expensive tools. You don’t need it to match any other machine. You create the baseline yourself by throwing the first punch. Then try to achieve better from there. I take the battery case off, so the phone is as light as possible. Love it, thank you! I am using this on an iPhone 6plus.

Not bad

Honestly this app does what it is meant to do. The PSI punching is a bit off, I am usually punching 850-950 on professional machines yet it only marks me around 700. This app however I feel is not worth money. Just go to an arcade put in 50 cents and punch one of those machines.

Waste of money!!!!

BRN1DWN on

This app is worthless. It doesn’t measure anything. It literally doesn’t do crap. Biggest waste of money on an app ever!! You are better off asking a bag of Cheetos to measure your punches which I’m sure would be 1000 times more accurate. It is so terrible I want the star back that I HAD to give in order to provide this warning to prevent anyone else from being suckered by this trash.
