Turns out they do fake matches with men to keep them subscribed. I have analyzed the chatting algorithm and combined with the timing they match with you I am certain something fishy going on. I will be publishing my findings soon.
If you like receiving dick pics from 1000 men before even matching with them then maybe you’ll like this app
Great concept, well designed, but good luck on there. You will pay a lot for little visibility and few/no matches. Overpriced for an app where it’s almost impossible to match. Too many bots and too many men to women ratio.
Too much time and money spent on cool illustrations and animations and almost no effort put into the UI and everything else. People you block keep popping back up. People I’ve liked pop back up in liked? My feed is full of the exact same people everyday. People I’ve blocked or people I liked. It’s awful, I don’t know what I’ve payed for.
This app is empty and only begs you to subscribe. AVOID.
The app just take your money nobody. Talks on there you can’t chat just like and you only see the same people over and over again ……
Ok so this is my experience as a male, I live in a town so there isn’t really a user base for this, the one or 2 likes I did get though were alright but didn’t really go anywhere. But if you live in a city and know how to talk dirty well, then you might have better luck. Might give the app another go in the future and see how it goes. But other than that it’s not bad for what it’s designed for. The only problem I would say is the prices are a bit high but it’s understandable as they’re trying to create a safe environment.
I’ve had Pure a number of years off/on due to a lifestyle that moves about a bit and the app seriously changed for the worst in that time. Really should have stopped using a while ago as the ratio of men:women is now so huge it’s unusable & the app just encourages spending £ to chat to someone which works from a business point of view (well played) but as a user you get nothing for your £. 1. RATIOS: Men still pay a subscription to use where women it’s still free to use. I once asked pure about this unfairness and they said “if we charged women to use the app they wouldn’t use it!” So this isn’t changing…ever. Women have a few features they can pay for but they’re optional ‘enhancements’ to make their profiles pointlessly stand out (it just means they’ll never see your ‘like’). We’re talking 200-400 likes in a few hours without enhancements so you’re very unlikely to get seen & the recipient overwhelmed. The unbalanced ratio plays into exactly what Pure want. 2. GIFTS: You can buy ‘gifts’ to stand out/message due the men:women ratio however this is a scam. They can get rejected in milliseconds…too fast for a real person to ever notice/see/read/listen to them so I’m pretty sure filters reject them (like age) but you have no forewarning of this & naturally you don’t get a refund. Now you don’t even get a notification of a rejection, there’s no way to keep track and gifts now don’t get any response for weeks (again due to ratio) so are pointless. If they do get accepted then highly likely the ‘person’ 1) says nothing or 2) instantly leaves the chat without anyone saying a word or 3) after a good chat the profile goes dead never to come online again. There are active profiles setup to waste your gifts & therefore £. Don’t buy them. 3. PROFILES: they’re either A) completely blank of photo and/or description, B) the picture is of no one (a lamp, a landscape screenshot) or C) the photo is clearly a screenshot from a social media profile & lacks clarity/resolution/is a bit blurry so highly likely isn’t them and is FAKE. Descriptions are also a give away…they say they’re “new to this/the app/still figuring it out” etc. yet they’ve had the app well over 100 days. Similarly they say they’re visiting the area/on holiday but they’ve been in the location for nearly a year. 4. LOCATION is also an issue - sometimes you can tell from photos they clearly are not in/from the same country as you (subtle details too). Everyone used to have a distance marker to you (#km/m
Used to have a broader range, now spend too long strolling the same people
