Planking Revolutionized

Published by: Pure Plank

Description

"Sick of crunches and situps? So were World Champion wrestlers Jay Reso & Adam Copeland when they came up with the PurePlank board and app. The two pros put their heads together to think of the best way to keep fit while living their best life out of the ring. Planking provides a total core workout in as little as 3 minutes per day, preparing you for peak athleticism, boosting mood, and building muscle seamlessly. Crunches, situps, and traditional core exercise only work out abdominal muscles. While there is nothing wrong with these workouts, they aren’t the most exciting or efficient core routines you can mix into your daily routine. When it comes to a full-core training routine, nothing beats planks. PurePlank helps anyone write their core comeback story using the power of planking.
Customize Your Planking Routine
PurePlank is made for everyone. Started by two men in their 40s, PurePlank was their vision for an adaptable workout routine made to work for a wide range of users – from someone who has never worked out before to someone who has made working out an integral part of their lives.
The PurePlank app features customizable plank exercise routines that meet you in your workout journey.
Work Up To New Goals
Goals propel us in our fitness journeys when we tire of the same exercises. The PurePlank interactive app helps you meet new goals as your body and mind grow stronger. Professional plankers help you set goals and work through them, while the PurePlank board allows you to work up your time, endurance, and more.
Improve Mental & Physical Health
A good core training routine is key to a healthy lifestyle. Core body muscles provide body stability, improve balance, and propel health goals. Planking provides all the benefits of traditional core training exercises (like crunches and situps) with the added benefit of a mental health boost. Get your endorphins flowing and your muscles pumped with the help of PurePlank.
Never Get Bored
It’s easy to get bored with traditional workouts. You stagnate and grow tired of doing the same movements repeatedly without a change in routine.
The PurePlank companion app utilizes professionals to make your workout exciting, personal, and, most importantly – fun. Engage your core strength in just 3 minutes per day, and never get bored doing it.
The PurePlank app utilizes bodyweight, proper planking technique, engaging workout routines, and the PurePlank board to allow anyone to feel their best and train their core from home."

I am unable to progress past the first step I setup. After reading some reviews, I realize I am not the only one with this issue. This app is broken.

I’ve used the tutorials a few times. I’ve only heard sound describing the workouts once. The tutorial videos don’t have sound.

Board is Fine; App needs work

I haven’t encountered anything with the physical Pure Plank itself. Wish I could say the same for the app. In order to get credit for the workout, you have to hit the right button in the right order. Simply watching a video will not give you credit. You have to click the play button of the video and then “Start Workout”. It doesn’t progress on its own and you have to select the workout each time you start, even if it’s multiple sets of the same exercise. A checkmark would be nice. Also, when you move to the next exercise using the forward/next button, it will just start playing the first video in the set again. That button is useless. Finally, I had issues with the calendar that logs your workouts. I have to click on the date directly to the right of the actual date I want to see. It doesn’t match where I’m pressing on the screen. Anyway, I’ve been trying to be consistent with the Pure Plank for two weeks now. You don’t need the app to make the most of it, but I wish it were more user friendly especially considering the price of the board.

So far so good… but music!

Videos are helpful for form. But it’s disabling music from other apps when the videos launch. So I’m just watching the form videos then exiting rather than using as intended.
