Purgatory

I love praying for the Holy Souls. This app enables me to pray not only in the Month of November, but everyday of the year. Easy to follow, settings for daily reminders and beautiful prayers. These prayers give me the comfort of knowing that I am helping by my prayers, the souls in Purgatory. I like the explanation on indulgences and knowing I can gain an indulgence by praying for the Holy Souls.

I have used this app daily for the last few years, but this latest update for iPad will not even open. Please go back to the previous version! Thanks, and God keep you! Thank you, it now works, but the punctuation for the de Profundis is not good. It should be something like the following: Psalm 130 (129) De Profundis Out of the depths I have cried to Thee, O Lord; Lord, hear my voice. Let Thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication. If Thou, O Lord, wilt mark iniquities, Lord, who shall stand it? For with Thee there is merciful forgiveness, and by reason of Thy law, I have waited for Thee, O Lord. My soul hath relied on His word; my soul hath hoped in the Lord. From the morning watch even until night, let Israel hope in the Lord. Because with the Lord there is mercy, and with Him plentiful redemption. And He shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities

I love this app. My father used to pray these prayers every day. I'm delighted to recommend this devotion to all who pray for their departed loved ones.
