Missing darkmode, various UX quirks

This app needs a major overhaul: not only it doesn't support a dark mode - the search is broken (crashes on "Free Text" search [bookmarks over 20K], the last entries in the result list are not reachable). With the abandonment of the reference app, Pinner, this seems nevertheless the only app for Pinboard so far that is somehow useable.

Considering the price tag, it would be nice to have a dark mode.

No way to save link?

I've copied a link but cannot find any way to create a new pin inside the app. Does it only support sharing extensions now?

Beste Option für iOS bisher

Bisher der bester Client für Pinboard unter iOS. Insbesondere die Suchfunktion hebt sich von der Konkurrenz ab. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass das Abspeichern vom neuen Links erstmal lokal geschieht und dann nach und nach im Hintergrund zu Pinboard geschehen würde (wie das z.B. auch Instapaper auf iOS macht), da das Speichern aus dem Share Sheet die eigentliche App im Vordergrund zu lange blockiert.

Very reliable pinboard client

Very reliable Pinboard client with helpful customisation settings, beautiful, easy to read interface and (that’s important!) the best app icon design in the Pinboard client industry (period.). Has been a bit stingy with updates recently – which is noticeable in little things like the two share sheet extensions being impossible to distinguish in iOS 13 – but apparently great things are in the pipeline.

Could be a great app...

but the app gets not enough updates. Using this App on iOS 13 is super annoying.

Noch nicht bereit für iPadOS

Es ist wichtig zu wissen, dass man ohne einen Pinboard-Account mit der Pushpin-App nichts anfangen kann. Siehe http://pinboard.in. Im Prinzip gut, jedoch fehlen wichtige Features: So kann ich die App nicht im Split-Screen-Modus auf dem iPad Pro öffnen, was aber wichtig wäre. Auch der Slide-Over-Modus wird nicht unterstützt. Die native Oberfläche von Pinboard ist für mich nicht schlechter.
