Quartet 2 Reviews

Very good app

Very easy to use yet very configurable. Great sounds too. Support is excellent and the user interface is very intuitive. This helps when you brain is focusing on being creative as a opposed to being a programmer! Highly recommended. Go for it.

Great app, but a few inaccuracies

Jazz Review on

United Kingdom

Heard about this app and first impression is it’s fantastic. Will be good to use for students and personal practice. Upon first few plays, I did however find some inaccuracies in some of the harmonies. For example bar 19 on Blame It On My Youth should be F7, not Fm7 and rhythms on Moment’s Notice not correct. These are minor flaws but important in the context of education and historical accuracy and hopefully these can be fixed at some point. Hopefully more tunes will be added over time too. Overall, it’s a great app though and I will be suggesting to my students.

Good selection of standards

remjar9 on

Good selection of standards as a follow up to the first Quartet app. The playlist feature is a nice touch and really useful for creating set lists. These two apps now seem to cover all the essential songs you would need to know.

Great app!

There were a few standards I wanted that were not in quartet 1 but are here in quartet 2. Very happy with this.

My favourite app

Another instalment of my favourite app. So much fun. Great performances and the best accompaniment you can get on your iOS device!

Another cracker!

Sherrif 123 on

Another lorry load of awesome tracks from Gascoyne and co. More fast swing, more Latin and more ballads than volume 1….same tight rhythm section which is a joy to play along to. Transpose is one touch and easy to find the tempo you’re after. This is the perfect app for practising jazz instrumentalists. A great buy at twice the price.
