One of the best games!
Wish there were more! The Zen edition had this intense Bplot with a story that progresses as you complete levels. It doesn’t resolve itself and it is a bit bonkers but very intriguing.

I love these gorgeous puzzles and I appreciate the light narrative framing. Hope to see another entry someday!
Bought all four games for $4.99. Money well spent. Great for downtime- calming and good mental exercise. I recommend purchasing the games because the adds in the free version disrupt the zen. Very enjoyable!
Those seem like strange bedfellows, but I am writing to tell you that they are exactly what you need to relax and relieve your stress. I had downloaded the first 3 Quell games years ago and solved them again and again until it became tedious. How delightful to have new puzzles to solve along with beautiful music that soothes the souls. Great job, folks!
All the Quell series games are perfect. They are calm and soothing yet challenging; they keep the mind occupied with contentment, beautiful music, and beautiful colors. This is the best in the series because it seems the longest, has new elements that are entertaining to learn, and offers probably the most challenging levels toward the end. Please keep making these games!
Ive played the first three games on my Iphone 4S. So that gives you an idea how successful these puzzles are. Each started out on its own before Memento, then they hid Gems in each of the levels (+ series). There’s also Red Portals that take you to a Secret timekeeper level in Memento. One of the additions here in ZEN is: One way portal blocks which you come out of the direction the Gold ring sent you. You can’t go back through a block however you can move it to a new place you want to send stuff in or teleport out of! The SWEET part lies in certain levels you can actually PUSH the block into the Gold Ring that creates & leads to a WORMHOLE level. Everything move you make there is now REVERSED! If you never played any of the Quell series before, you can start with the original to see where the game gets better over time. So if you haven’t got the package of 4 - try Memento first. The original might drive you a bit MAD as there’s less variety of puzzles there & more use of closing gates. However, both original & Reflect each have BONUS levels for extreme challenge too.
Dear Fallen Tree Game Makers, I love the Quell games so so much!!! Please consider adding the following updates to all Quell games: ability to reset apps to fresh, erase memory without erasing prior purchases, tips for how to solve/reach very tricky locations for gems and portals whether for purchase or through a link to a blog about the games and how they are designed. I love Quell games so much that I want to go Behind the Quell! I want to know the designers, what inspired their choices, the colors, the music, etc. Thank you so much for making these games for us to enjoy!!!
The Quell series is a significant work of art on all levels. Compelling, comforting, challenging, inspiring.. I would love to have the option to move through chapters at the same level of difficulty as the first level, when I want a purely relaxing experience. As with Memento, I found some of the puzzles too complex to tackle. That said, I'm always looking forward to experiencing more Quell, and I'm grateful that I can turn to these gems that fill my heart.
This is the very best in a series of wonderful games. I have played all the Quell games and honestly thought it couldn’t get better than Memento, but Fallen Tree completely outdid themselves once again. Like the other games, the graphics are smooth, fast, and positively gorgeous. Again, like the other games, the music is wonderfully composed, beautiful, and relaxing. I liked the story aspect of Memento, but did find it a bit vague. I love the letters at the end of each chapter in Zen. They are just specific enough to be compelling, and I love how the story wraps up. I will most definitely play this through several more times.
Solved all the puzzles to the end. Resorted to getting the solution only four times. Sweet inter-level story. Beautiful! Glitch free.
