Description

With QuestNative, collect points and rewards while discovering the hidden gems of Edinburgh and Scotland. To play, you'll need to explore, visit places, and be prepared for Adventures and Quests!
QuestNative is for you if you like to play, compete and carry out challenges. And if, rather than spend time at the same places as everyone else, you want to try new experiences and see Edinburgh and Scotland in a different way.
Start your journey with QuestNative, competing with other tourists and fun-loving locals exploring Edinburgh and Scotland.
Points can be won at Adventures. Choose your Adventures from the map or lists. Use filters to help you search for the right adventure: explore free or paid places, outdoor adventures on a sunny day or go indoors when it’s rainy (or too sunny!). You’ll find nature spots, activities, historic attractions, events and many more.
Go explore as Quests scenic locations of movies. Find their locations, bag them and discover more!
While having fun and discovering hidden gems, Quest Native will suggest what you can do next, how to get there or even help you find somewhere to have a break. Food and drinks places, transport hubs and public toilets are shown under Extra Information on the map. At some, you may even be able to bag some extra points.
The downloadable offline map of Edinburgh and Scotland helps to get you around even when you don’t have internet.
QuestNative has Quests that take you to the bonny filming locations of recent movies shot in Scotland such as Outlaw King (2018) and Mary Queen of Scots (2018).
Harry Potter fan? Follow the Potter Quest and find the places that inspired the Harry Potter books. Searching for graves of Thomas Riddle, Scrymgeour or McGonagall in Greyfriars graveyard? Or exploring the filming locations of the movies such as the viaduct of the Hogwarts express? All on the QuestNative map.
New adventures and quests will be added regularly. We’d love to know your suggestions and requests (or if there are any bugs in the app) so please email us at [email protected].
To start:
1) register and choose your name for the leader-board,
2) open the map to find an adventure,
3) go there,
4) and collect your reward!
Use the filters and set up your profile to find more adventures!
