Quetzal Reviews

Fun concept, bad execution

Decent card game, but there is literally no reliable way to get new cards except for purchasing. And the single player campaign scales WAY too hard too fast. So you can only win if you pay for cards and pay immediately after starting. After about 2 hours, I was at a wall where I’d either grind a ton or spend money.

Cards power up way too much per upgrade. Makes it too hard to compete using skill and more about card levels.

Phenomenal card game!

I’ve been looking for a new card game to get into and I finally found it! As someone who played modern yugioh this game is a nice change of pace! The game mechanics are easy to understand, card art is phenomenal and the game is very free to play! Some things I would like to see though is some background music as when I played the game there was no music playing and it felt kinda empty, I played Spotify but that’s something that needs to be added also for the whole going first and second system I feel like there should be a decision maker to decide who goes first or second like rock, paper scissors or a coin flip as sometimes game wins feels entirely based on rng and last thing is the arena/pvp system, I feel like there needs to be balance system while playing like if it’s possible you can make all cards maxed level while playing arena instead of having the same level as the campaign, I feel this way because let’s say some new player wants to try out quetzal and wants to do pvp mainly but they get WHOOPED and realize they have to grind to be able to play pvp to compete with the older players, Itll definitely not be as fun so I say only during PvP make all cards max level and balanced so new and older players can compete with each other. Besides those few things kudos for such a phenomenal card game to play and have fun in! I hope all goes well for this game! Much love and kisses!

Generous game you don’t need to spend money

Interesting mechanics and easy to level cards. You can buy pack just to support the devs but no need for fun game play
