Queue - Find Movies & Shows

Got this app about a year ago. I have never been a movie or tv person. A few months ago i started to change my ways and start watching the movies i missed out on all my life and this app is a brilliant way to track what i have watched. I would've literally given up on my new resolution if I did not find this app. List feature is a love Random Wheel feature is excellent. Review feature and seeing what your friends thought about a certain title is so good. Although buggy a few months ago, the trailer feature at the top of a title page is brilliant. It saves the hassle of going on youtube to watch the trailer every time you get a little interested into a title. I would love a “rewatch” feature. Something like a +/- feature on a title where you can add a rewatch. Then also you could elaborate this feature into showing it on the “watched” category. LP

title says it all, i love this app so much, it’s so convenient and helpful and organised my watch list way better than a notes app could do, it’s packed full of features and the fact it tells you where to watch queued shows and movies is just so helpful, i’ll never stop recommending this app

Love the slick design and the ability to track progress within series. The spinner function is a lot of fun but I’d love to see the ability to use the spinner on saved lists I’ve made so I don’t have to spend ages selecting titles from my main list before spinning. I’d also like to see something like a private mode? I know a lot of people are into the social aspect, but there’s no setting to change if you do just want to use the app for you. I haven’t followed or interacted with anyone in any way (because I don’t want to) but I still get frequent notifications like “(Random person) has queued (some film on my list) because of you” and that just feels like the app is spreading my activity around to people I don’t know, and trying to force me towards a functionality I don’t want to use. Other than that it really is a good watchlist app with a lot of great functions. With a few tweaks I’d be giving it 5 stars all day long.

It does not seem to record when I’m swiping at different times what I have said I have not seen, so I will do a session of swipes saying I have not seen things, a couple hours later if I do more it will suggest the same 50 films and series again. Seems like it just doesn’t have a complex enough algorithm to suggest shows and films by category based on what you have said you have already seen. For example I keep being shown films in the swipe part that I would never want to watch and sometimes the same suggestions will come up in one swiping session. It needs to remember when I say I’ve not seen something and not suggest it everytime I use the app for a good amount of time and learn based on what you say you have seen to suggest similar things you may be interested in. There is a heap of other things that need work but this one is the main reason I downloaded the app with my wife to find things to watch instead of doomscrolling. Other than that it’s a great idea, just not entirely useable yet for the best features…

Every time I try to sing up with Apple ID it says invalid request body.

The concept of this app is great, it just needs a bit of the finer details ironing out. The swipe with friends function is difficult to use and shouldn’t require the user to send a link on another platform to start choosing. It makes the process clunky and unenjoyable. The ability to mark shows or movies as “watched” or “watching” is great but this list needs to have a “will never watch” tag. Most streaming platforms have algorithms that show you content you might be interested in based on your watching habits (which has its flaws) but this app has a list positivity bias, which just becomes annoying after the third time of swiping a show “not seen” that I will never want to see. Will probably revisit this app in 6 months when it’s updated a few rounds.

I love this app so much! It’s so nice having all my movies in one place. However one thing I would say would be amazing is if they have a separate section for shows and movies and they are not all put together in the want to watch list. <3

I highly recommend this as a way of tracking what you watch. I only have one small grip which is more of a nitpick than anything but sometimes the show isn’t always updated in the episode count which can be annoying sometimes
