Quitch

All universities should start using Quitch as an extra tool for students in their courses. Why? It’s the easiest and fastest way to learn concepts. This is the most fun and engaging application you’ll ever use to learn your materials. Highlighting and listening to lectures (and rote memorisation) is very ineffective compared to other forms of learning such as flash cards and/or spaced repetition. Lucky for you, this is where Quitch comes in. After giving you materials to learn, the app will provide quizzes with breaks between the release of new questions to help ensure knowledge retention. This is because reading your notes from 3 weeks ago does practically nothing (illusion of understanding, just because it makes sense does not mean you will remember it as an answer on a test!). However, answering questions on what you learned 3 weeks ago will improve your recall and understanding of the topic (even if you get it wrong) while also preparing you for test questions. Last but not least, the amount of time you save by learning concepts through the methods utilised by Quitch (and not the worthless hours of cramming before an exam) gives you even more time to study for the things you didn't have the time to cover thoroughly. Or time to go back to your hobbies. Any time you spend on this application is rewarded back to you multiplied - what more can you ask for?

I really enjoyed this application. Thankfully, it was easy to use once I downloaded and once I logged in I was automatically connected to my classes! The 30 second timer really engaged my focus for each question and I was able to gauge successfully what my strengths and weaknesses were in the Units available! -Tara A.

Quitch has been an amazing resource for my studies in business and neuroscience; it allows me to revise all of my knowledge on important topics and consolidate my memory. The app has worked wonderfully for me so far, it is a simple and easy to follow layout and brings a fun outlook on studying. Looking forward to further use throughout my university degree.

This app has been so helpful with my studies! By using fun and engaging content, it has encouraged me to consistently remain ontop of my work. Would highly recommend for anyone who finds it difficult to find motivation!

The ability to have a seamless app on my phone has allowed me to have quick revision sessions on the go! This is my second semester using the app and it is evident that the extra study and revision was all I needed to improve my grades! Quitch has also allowed me to fill in gaps between my knowledge and pin point my weak areas. Would highly recommend!

This app is terrific for revision. I’ve used it in 3 of my classes for University so far and it helped me to remember concepts, definitions, theories and more. It’s a fun way to revise and I liked being on the leaderboard and trying to improve my position in my class. I achieved good results in all of the classes I used it for, so it definitely works, and it’s way more fun than reading a textbook!

Quitch has provided a seamless transition to remote learning by keeping my undergraduate and postgraduate students engaged and interested in the content! The leaderboard is genius and my favourite feature is the ability to create highly visual anatomy and imaging questions using patient images, CT scans and 3D reconstructions! Well done team Quitch!!

This is a considerably buggy app for something that is quite low on the scale of complexity. The content requires proof reading for grammar and formatting. An excessive number of questions feature double negatives creating an unnecessary obstacle to the thought process.
