Qwest - Travel with Friends

I like to use Qwest when I'm out in SF. Nice to get a feel for what's going on in when I'm out in the city. Always nice to see the updates/progress being made.

Awesome app its really user-friendly. I love that I don't have to wait in line anymore. Just make sure to check on the app within the 30days after signing up if you don't want the membership. I totally forgot about mine but I wanted to be a member so it was fine.

Signed up for a membership at a local bar I frequent in SF called Blondies. Line there is crazy. Get to skip the line and go straight in now. Used it at a few other places as well. Super convenient when going out with friends.

I advise not to use this service. You will be charged hidden fees

TL;DR: Qwest has a sketchy business model where fees are not clearly drawn out for people like me who just want to shoot a text, pay a flat fee, and quickly skip a bar line. If you want people to join your membership, then maybe email us instead of springing high fee charges a month later. The situation: Qwest is used at my favorite local dive bar in San Francisco called Blondie's. I recently had 6 friends from out of town visiting and I wanted them to experience one of my favorite spots without having to wait in a line. Here comes Qwest..."Just text this number, pay a fee, and skip the line!" it advertised. OK, sure. I text the number and am redirected to a site on my iPhone to checkout. Easy enough I suppose, great! A few days pass and I receive a call from an unknown number and let it go to voicemail. I *try* to decipher what the man is saying but it is muffled and can barely understand two words out of his mouth. One of those two words is "Qwest". Sure whatever, it must be a spam call from Qwest asking me to use their services again. Fast forward a month and I wake up at 7 AMto find a charge on my credit card for $120 from Qwest for a "membership" charge. I immediately get in touch with the contact form on the Qwest.co website and am told that there is absolutely no way they can give me a full refund. This is extremely frustrating seeing that I used their services an entire month ago around maybe midnight and thought the process would be as simple as a text and a flat payment. I will never use Qwest's services again and I would never recommend them to friends.
