This app provides several tools to help you read and write Middle Egyptian texts. The app renders Manuel de Codage (MdC) into hieroglyphs using Serge Rosmorduc's JSesh. The app also allows you to browse JSesh's hieroglyphic palette. It further includes lessons and quizzes that help you learn to read Egyptian. Furthermore, a 1000 word dictionary with a search function, and a list of personal and demonstrative pronouns are included. The app support multiple transcription styles including the European system, the British system, the Budge system, and the computer system. The name of the app r n kmt is Middle Egyptian and means "speech of Egypt".
