Room for improvement

The core concept of this is great - it’s a shame it’s let down by, like many other apps, a paywall & I think it’s what’s driving people away. Pros - The ability to create a (very) basic profile & connect with people at your skill level. Cons - When inputting your personal location it doesent obscure it - if I were to put in Melbourne, it’ll show up as Melbourne- if I put in my full address though, that’ll show up, which is a really big problem: you’ve got so many accounts on here with full name/age/photos and full address for everyone to see - it’s kinda dangerous. - The paywall: Paywalls make sense if you have a good core product - this isn’t really that, at least yet. Why would I pay to message more people, if those extra messages won’t result in a reply? - Lack of activity: After using this app for months I’ve only had two people get back to me & Ive probably messaged 40+ people. A large portion of people on here say they were last active months and months ago - I wonder why: they download the app, realise there’s a paywall and lack of activity then delete the app, that’s what I did at the start too.

Payment

The paywall prevent people from even contacting others. They need to get rid of the paywall to allow people to connect and use the app. Seems like no one is online/using the app bc of this; lost potential. They need to find a way to promote connection with people nearby as the player list is very random

A joke

The whole “invite your friend get 6 months free” is a sham, doesn’t work. Don’t waste your time with this app, search for tennis mesh on Google.

Payment requirement

I was looking forward to seeing if there were any local players nearby and see what I could get out of the app in terms of fitness, however in order to do anything you must pay a monthly to yearly subscription. Which really was a let down, you can’t avoid the payment wall you either pay or you don’t. I think if this app wants people to give it a go and a chance I think there should be a free trial of some sort, being a uni student paying 10$ a month just isn’t gonna last very long, this app could have so much potential and now that I read that it was free at one point just tells me that management got greedy.

Bad app

You can’t do anything without payment

Collects personal data then asks for $

Was actually looking forward to meeting players locally but the app just collected my personal information including photo and then put up a pay wall to subscribe and use every aspect of the service. Message to developers: is your user base (~40k users) number of people who have submitted their data and haven’t subscribed or purely subscribed users? What steps are you taking with the PI collected from people who don’t wish to go forward with the subscription? You should at least let people know what info will be collected and what features they can/can’t use.

Disappointed

Does this app work in Australia? I paid $12 and can’t find any players around me even though I refined the filters!

No trial period

Should offer a trial month before asking people for payment. I’m not paying to sign up if there may not even be others on the app in my area…

Agreed with the other review: deceptive

ACE MATRIX on

I got excited to see how the app works and how many people are around the area to play with. I understand charging the membership fee to at least contact people. But outright creating a barrier that won’t let you proceed without payment. Was a bit of a let down… at least tease a free trial for a month or something to see if you like it too?

Not worth it

Have to pay to see other players. So after I Paid for a subscription I find out there was no other players nearby. Total waste of money. I contacted their support and never got a response.
