Radio Spirits presents its nationally-syndicated program When Radio Was which features a selection of Old Time Radio (OTR) shows and is hosted by Greg Bell.
Access an archive of recent shows.
Featuring great series such as Sam Spade, Jack Benny, Johnny Dollar, Fibber McGee and Molly, The Green Hornet, Life of Riley, and many others. An optional subscription service allows you to stream and download even more programs on-demand from our vast library of thousands of classic radio programs.
iOS background play allows you to listen while you do other things on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Fully integrated with iPod/audio controls.
AirPlay will allow you to stream the shows to your Apple TV or bluetooth speaker.

This app is pretty crummy..
The only pro is that the shows are remastered, which isn’t the case on other OTR apps. However, you can’t rewind or fast forward, bookmark shows, or easily return to the main screen. I’m really surprised and disappointed that this is such a bare bones app.

This app performs poorly.
I’ve had it for 2+ years and it’s never been great but now it’s gotten awful. I keep getting a message when I tap on a show that says ‘something went wrong please try again later.’ Like, later than when? It’s been giving me this message for days now!
Hard to navigate
I can’t figure this app at all. You should make a how-to video
Total enjoyment
Great selection and great quality. Listen to it every night. I rely on it to relax me in the evening before I sleep. I would miss it very much if it was no longer available.

Love the content but once again there has evidently been a bad update as it won't recognize me and I have to keep downloading the app. It's too bad, it was good for awhile
