생존수칙 1 - 희망과 생존 의지를 잃지 않을 것
바이러스의 영향으로 익숙하던 세상이 하루아침에 낯설어졌다. 질병, 기아, 추위, 감염자와 알 수 없는 시도를 지속하는 조직이 생존자의 생명을 위협한다. 사방에 존재하는 위험 속에서 최대한 냉정함을 유지하고, 어떤 위기든 해결할 수 있다고 믿는 것이 가장 중요하다.
생존수칙 2 - 무엇이든 활용하여 살아남아라
감염자들이 돌아다니는 마을, 황폐해진 광구, 폐허가 된 대학, 쓸쓸하게 서 있는 나무…… 종말이 다가오는 세계 구석구석을 탐색하여, 생존에 필요한 자원들을 수집하여 이용하라!! 채집, 사냥, 조리를 통해 허기진 배를 채우고, 직접 약품과 무기를 만들어 생존하라!
생존수칙 3 - 다른 생존자들을 경계할 것
영지 밖을 돌아다니다 보면, 더 많은 생존자를 만날 수 있다. 종말이 다가오는 세상에서 당신의 물자를 노리고 공격하는 다른 생존자들을 경계하라!
생존수칙 4 - 최후의 피난처를 건설할 것
신뢰하는 동료와, 안전한 장소를 찾아 영지를 꾸리고, 목재와, 암석, 기와를 하나하나 쌓아, 최후의 인류가 살아나갈 안식처를 건설하라! 추운 밤, 서로 의지하며 눈을 붙일 곳은 있어야 할 테니…
