I love Rafy!!

This app has made the self-tape process easy, convenient, and smooth! No need to ask a friend to help or turn down a last minute tape because I didn’t have a reader! I am so grateful for the Rafy team and recommend this app to everyone!!

This app is amazing I am a reporter at my school and I want to practice in a more organic way but this app is quite faulty It’s very slow at times often forgetting to voice the other person It’s also very bad for accounting for tone I did a couple scenes in different tones and it took the app quite a while to pick up the words I was saying and run through to the next line If you’re an actor trying to practice lines this won’t help because it’s so slow that it’ll likely make you lose your focus but this app has so much potential My recommendation is for the developer to fix these problems and the app will be perfect for me (in my opinion )

5 stars!!! Rafy is expertly designed to be the actors go-to scene partner. The people that made this app are obviously very aware of the struggles actors go through to properly self tape. Thank goodness someone is out there looking out for the needs of creatives. Thank you for creating new technology to support our craft. I love Rafy !!!!!!

Rafy is the app I’ve been looking for as an actress! It’s helped me so much with practicing my lines and memorizing them for an audition. It’s also been so helpful as a reader for an actual audition! I love it!

First off the latest update really added level of believability to the AI. I love the feature to be able to customize the way they say the lines. (Beware of your accent shining through to the AI in custom recordings). I like that the feature to add a timer to lines was added. If this app is perfected, I could see this being my go to for every audition. Right now is just not up to par to replace an actual reader. Features I’d like to see that could bring it closer to replacing the reader would be: a reader only mode for other modes of filming (via mirrorless camera, or another camera) where it will still pick up on cue lines or timer without filming the self tape from the phone; the ability to delete lines from the preview given that casting directors usually cut lines and start mid page. The app disregards the markings that cut lines and adds them into the preview, having the actor go and screenshot the script, crop, convert to pdf and have to use “extra tokens” for just the one audition with multiple scenes. If these were implemented into this app I will give you five stars.

I have control of my time and can do my auditions as many times as I want. I can travel knowing that I can do my auditions anywhere, and the best part is that the sound and video quality is amazing.
