The RAILtoLAND application is a free resource that was designed to promote the appreciation and discovery of the landscape and cultural heritage along the Porto - Vigo railway line.


RAILtoLAND allows you to experience a unique journey inside the train, offering the following features:
• Discover and highlight Points of Interest that you will encounter along your journey;
• View your progress on the journey, with different zoom levels;
• Track your journey with pre-recorded video from the front of the train;
• View points of interest on the map, categorized into Cultural, Built and Natural Heritage;
• View landscape units on the map, accompanied by explanatory audios;
• Receives notifications of upcoming Points of Interest and of passage in new landscape units;
• Interact with Points of Interest and explore their interactive content, such as descriptions, photos, videos, 3D models and 360 panoramas;
• View information along your journey, such as distances, times, speeds, etc;
• Configure the experience to your liking: Turn features on and off, change the type of map, control audio playback, control camera rotation, etc;
• Create your own photo gallery along the way;
• Share photos and descriptions of Points of Interest;
• Revisit your interactions and favorites after the trip.
