Rain Radar Australia

I was watching out for rain as I had important washing on the line drying. I had a few minutes of rain, heavier then a sprinkle - enough to see over a concrete path, yet no clouds showed for our area and my dry laundry had gotten wet! I would have taken the washing in if i had even seen potential clouds in the area according to the map, but the map showed clear skies. It was wrong.

A great app! Great accuracy, easy to understand and regularly saves us from misadventure in bad weather.

Radar images load faster than any app or webpage I have ever used. Simple, useful controls, great stuff!

I’ve used this app for many years now. Clean and simple. It uses the BOM Radar net plus put BOM’s AWS wind etc, and your location pin on the map. One problem is Google ads can cover information on the screen.

Precise , quick , easy to move the map around & easy to zoom in & out between the varying km observations ie: .64 , 128, 256 ... It would be great if we could add major roads & rail to the format

It’s good to c where the rain is when planning outings & also will the day be good 4 washing. The weather dictates our daily lives.

I’ve been using this radar app for around 6 years, I feel it’s about the best as its interface is nice n quick, easy to see and use. Location pin drop is handy also. Keep the good work up Cheers
