Description

Our children are growing up in a digital landscape, and Raise is designed to help you navigate it.
When should kids get a smartphone? What do you do if your kids’ screen time is out of control, you catch your young child watching porn, your teenager is sexting or being pressured to send nudes, your daughter is being cyber bullied over social media DMs, or your son has been approached by online predators? The answers aren’t always intuitive. Our own parents never had to deal with anything like this, and it’s not always easy to know where to turn for advice on raising our kids.
Raise is a completely free learning and tracking app designed to help you make the best of your family’s time, attention, and energy. Here’s what you can expect:
Goal setting tools to help you track progress in your own habits, and the habits of each of your kids
Educational resources designed by parenting experts to get you in the know about how much time your children should be spending on screens, the dangers of online predators, the reality of online bullying or cyberbullying, and how to strengthen your relationship and communication with your children about these issues
Tips and challenges to try out in your own home
A community of like-minded parents who also want what’s best for their children in this digital age
The Raise curriculum focuses on adding more of the good, rather than just cracking down on the negative aspects of technology. Simply cutting down on screen time isn’t enough. It’s also critical to fill their lives with positive relationships, good times, connection, exercise, and other healthy habits. Helping your children avoid learning damaging messages about love, body image, and sexuality from porn or other inappropriate content takes more than telling them what NOT to do. Kids also need to know about the positive and healthy aspects of sexuality and how to express that part of themselves at different stages of life. Raise can help guide you as a parent in having these important conversations throughout your young children and teenagers’ lives.
Help raise your children to develop healthier relationships with technology, the internet, cell phones, video games, TV, and other screens by signing up for a free Raise account.

I love the look and feel of this app. It is loaded with helpful information that is based in research and it feels like a friendly, informed neighbor talking to me. I highly recommend this app for any parent (or anyone who works with parents) in this digital age.

Super helpful!

With a young daughter and another child on the way, this app is awesome! One thing that makes me so nervous is the effect of technology on my kids and the dangers there are online. This app is great for not only for protecting kids, but also taking a hard look at my own use of technology and how that affects my kids.
