Too bad zero stars isn’t an option
This app is supposed to be a Black Owned Business directory. But I’ve found several businesses that aren’t Black Owned listed with them. I alerted them by email to the first one I found and the “CEO” replied with a very dismissive, rude, unprofessional and condescending attitude about it. It isn’t the consumer’s job to vet these businesses. That’s what the app is supposed to do. Literally, they have ONE job! There are other Black owned business directories and apps that are actually accurate and list Black businesses. Don’t waste your time or clutter your phone with this one. EDIT: see the developer’s response below. No accusations were made. I asked for assurance that they vetted. The developer took offense at that and initiated a back forth with a defensive stance, much like what’s written in his response. Proof positive in written form that this is an unprofessionally run app. Need I say more?
