keeps crashing, useless, I want my refund.
Almost useless app. Constantly crashes after connecting (seconds after connection).. when it did not crash, it showed information that was not true (e.g. it said that my pi was not connected to Ethernet, in fact it was connected to the Ethernet); recently, for CPU, it had no information.. I can get more info doing ssh to my pi thst this useless pricy app (I was a fool and bought it bundled with another useless gem that this developer bundles it with.. Don’t be a fool, and don’t purchase this app..
Constantly drops and shows bogus status messages which I can validate are wrong by logging directly into the Pi and finding out services are up when reported not. Does not find all the Pi’s on the WiFi network and keeps crashing as it tries to refresh. Poorly done.
This was my favorite Pi monitoring app. However, it appears to have been abandoned, and so it doesn’t correctly support Pi 4 CPU or memory monitoring, network connection data is busted, and the Service Manager is spotty.
Anyone reviewing this negatively doesnt understand what working with technology actually looks like.
The app reports that all my raspberry pi cpu as 100% and memory sometimes reported 200% percentage, this has led me to believe the app is hard coded for Raspberry Pi with 2gb of ram and sees the 4gb as 200 percent. Mind you this is only a working theory since I’m using both a 3 and 4.
The app is easy to use and works really well except it always show my CPU usage at 100% and Memory at 276%. Please help with the CPU data!!!
I have read the negative reviews of the app, and I think many of them are the result of not understanding how this app works, combined with the scant documentation provided. To use this app, you need to be able to SSH and log into your pi with a user name and password (keys don’t appear to be supported), which *has* to be on the same network your phone is on. Where it gets trickier is that there are some needed packages that need to be installed on the pi for this app to work. I have 2 pies, one configured with the full Buster image, and one with the lite one. The app works fine on the full image, but presents with error messages on the other one. A listing of what packages this app needs to operate would be very helpful. The author assumes that the pi is set up with his NOOBS provided image, which is not always the case. The other issue I noticed is the memory and processor information is not accurate. On my 3B Plus pi, the one configured with the lite image, it tells me I have 2 out of 30 GB memory used. Anyone who ever owned a pi knows that this is impossible. I gave the app 3 stars which I think is unfair, but it would be equally unfair to give it 5 or 4 stars either. A 3.5 would be nearer the mark. Despite the issues I have with the app, it will be one I’ll use quite a lot once I workout what it needs.
This app needs to be updated to work with the Raspberry Pi 4.
Keeps crashing does not stay connected Very bad application Wish I could get it refund.
