• Buddy System: Perfect for finding friends or family at festivals, parks, malls, or on road trips. Also includes a one-touch quick toggle for turning sharing on and off with groups as you need.
• Location Tracking: Using both background and foreground permissions, our location tracking keeps working even when the app has been minimized or closed. No unnecessary battery drain while at your event or in day-to-day! However, when you have RaveDaddy open, you can see everyone's location in real time (as long as they are sharing), and see your updated location on our in-app map.
• Notifications: The festival or event is over, you closed the app days ago, but you left on group tracking. No worries! Using allowed permissions (foreground_service_location to be exact), we let you know when your location is being updated in the background and being shared to your groups - even after the app has been minimized or closed. We also use notifications for group invites, SOS alerts, and application updates.
• Transparent Permissions: When first creating an account, you can expect clear explanations for permissions related to location, push notifications, and Google integrations. With our quick access permission settings (in our settings menu), we make it fast and easy to change your permissions at any time.
Just remember if you turn off permissions to turn them back on again before using with your groups (the app will not function properly without all of the permissions enabled).
