RAW Experience

How digital camera sees it

Published by: Kostiantyn Medvedenko

Description

RAW Experience app simulates color filter patterns used in digital cameras to demonstrate how the picture is captured, and also how it is converted to full color RGB one via demosaicing algorithm.
The app supports Bayer (most popular, used in iPhone, also known as RGGB), Quad Bayer (used in iPhone 14 Pro 48MP main camera), X-Trans, CYGM, CYYM, RGBE, RGBW and RYYB color filter patterns.
RAW Experience also works as normal camera app — you can save the resulting image to iPhone Photo Gallery (with the current filter applied).
