Reader for Watch Reviews

Impressed with quality and dev response

Reviewed earlier with some performance concerns and the dev fixed it. Love this app now. It works well. If the auto scroll could go slower, I think it would be even better suited to laying in bed and reading effortlessly.

Doesn’t work

When I go to files, the app only lets me select html files. It won’t let me select epub.

Love the app

Overall your the best epub watch app. Great work on fixing the next chapter bug. No other epub app is as good as this on watch. The text scrolls really smoothly too. Hopefully one day link or images can be supported. But if not this app is great.

Doesn’t work

Good idea, bad product on

It doesn’t work in conjunction with any book app or company I could find

Totally nonfunctional

Does not appear to work at all or even show up as an app that can be installed on the watch

Amazing!

I read 2 or 3 books a week with this app since I’m stuck without a phone at work. Scrolling with the Digital Crown is smooth and easy. With small text it’s very readable. I often even find myself reading on my watch when I have my phone with me. I have never had any issues whatsoever. It’s quite a powerful little reader.

Converted my pdf book to epub AND even txt and they uploaded but does not allow me to send my Apple Watch … I press on it and it doesn’t work. I press send all and it’s doesn’t work .. and I can’t even request a refund bc “it’s not eligible for refund” .. super upset.

I’ve downloaded the app. My documents are downloaded to my files on my phone. However, the app doesn’t appear to be syncing them or showing them. The few it does show it won’t allow me to download .

does just what i need it to!

second update: I discovered that if you avoid pressing any buttons and just swipe up from the bottom of the screen to display the control center, then lower your watch so it darkens the screen, when you look at it again it will display the watch face while saving your place in the book. all you have to do is navigate back to the app to pick up where you left off. This makes it perfect for what I use it for. Additionally, I downloaded an app to edit txt files, so when I make progress in the book on my phone and want to pick back up on my watch, I simply edit the txt file to the place I left off so I don’t have to spend a while scrolling to find it :) update: managed to make it work by converting the epub to a txt file (the website convert.io is fast and free), but without the ability to save my spot in the text it’s too long to read practically since in that format it’s not divided by chapters I uploaded an epub to the watch and it worked just fine until I realized that after the prologue it showed only “part” titles as chapters with no content, with none of the chapters in the three parts, and only the text of the prologue and epilogue were accessible. hoping to find a workaround for this or that it will at least work for other books. I like the customizability of the display

Awesome reader

This is probably the best ebook reader for the watch. It’s simple to use and very powerful. The only thing I wish it had was a way to bookmark where you left off. But has only been out for a few weeks so I can’t expect everything. I will upgrade my rating to 5 stars when that happens.
