ReadingPlan helps you track your progress as you read through the Bible. You can start a plan at any time, progressing at your own rate or on the schedule dictated by the plan. You can optionally link to an online bible site to see the day's readings in the application's built-in web view, or launch a native bible app (if supported.) Five plans are installed by default; many more are available for download from within the app, or you can create your own.

ReadingPlan FAQ
Is ReadingPlan free?
Yes, ReadingPlan is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is ReadingPlan legit?
✅ The ReadingPlan app appears to be high-quality and legitimate. Users are very satisfied.
This app does exactly what I wanted. It opens directly to the readings of the day, with boxes ready to be checked off. No multiple screens to wade through, no interrupting ads. It can be set up for several different plans, and the start date can even be backdated. Thanks for an excellent, clean, and very helpful app.
Best M’Cheyne Bible reading app
This is an excellent Bible reading app. Interface is simple and effective with just enough personalization to help the user adjust for their own preferred Bible version.
My absolute favorite M’Cheyne Bible reading app.
Thank you to the developer for making this available.
Best Bible Plan App
Amazing Bible app. Helps me keep track of my daily reading. It is incredible easy to use, and there are a ton of plans available to choose from. The developer is also extremely nice and helpful with any questions at all. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a Bible reading tracking app. It is a must have for anyone wanting to get their daily bread.
This app leads me straight to God’s Word!
ReadingPlan is my go to app when I wake up, when I go to bed, and anytime I get ‘bored’. And what better way to spend that time reading the Bible! This app is wonderfully practical and adaptable. I have loaded my own non-dated reading plan into it and it keeps me reading all the time. I actually look forward to being ‘bored’ now. Because I know what I’m going to do next…
Thanks Jim for a genius app!
(Check out his Creeds and Confessions app as well. Also amazing!)
What I’ve been looking for
This wonderful little app enables you to devise your own Bible reading plan linking each reading to the Bible app of your choice. Most of the included plans are date based. My favored plan Six Section plan isn’t, but ReadingPlan handles it quite nicely. Nothing else comes close. I can imagine (and have submitted a request for) some enhancements for non date based plans like mine which is the only reason I’m not rating it 5 stars.
How do you create your own??
I’m looking to create my own Bible reading schedule or make an adjustment to the chronological schedule and I can’t figure out how to do it? There’s no button or section that allows you to create your own. The advertisement is not truthful.
Finally read through the entire Bible
I had wanted to read through the Bible, but could never quite stay on track or even finish. It felt like such a daunting task.
My sister suggested this app because she had used it to read through the Bible a few years in a row. I started it January 2022 and finished early. I read through the Bible again in 2023 and am starting my third year using this app. It’s become part of my morning routine and I love it.
I don’t know if I ever would have read through the entire Bible without this app. If I can do it, you can do it.
Update for ESV app?
Love the Reading Plan app! I have used it for years.
Crossway ESV app was updated recently and now link from RP only opens the ESV app wherever I last read, instead of opening to the correct chapter. Will you be updating RP to work with the updated ESV app?
Thanks in advance 😁
Simplicity and many plan options
Thank you! Love the simple layout and the fact that this includes the M’Cheyne plan!
Great app
This is an awesome app. Love how you can have multiple plans.
Great job!
